are the big flappy bits on the side hinged?

I didn't because

a) I would've looked at the image properties just like everyone else had I wanted to. that's why tom used tinypic to host his
b) I remember the 2+2 thread so didn't need to look
and c) kin had already answered by the time I saw it

oh and d) geek is really close to greek but I'm not sure how best to use this in an insult
