It wasn't until the last couple of days (whilst watching QI) that I found out that the "Geordie" label given to people from the Tyneside area may have originated from the pit men in the area opting to use a lamp designed by George Stephenson (a Geordie lamp) as opposed to the more popular Davey lamp. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeordieStrange how all these links seem to happen I learn about the term Geordie, Tighty poses a question on Stephenson Warbwastard reads about the sentence with 5 ands, I pose the question. Tom asks me about what I do to keep fit and I explain that I took to cycling about 3 months ago, he then says that is strange as he had just looked out his old bike. As they say, "It's a small world" Geo

How many wobbly ones? Am really enjoying it and was looking through tinternet today at "rollers" that would allow me to continue cycling in the house when the weather gets bad. I was thinking I could rig up some sort of stand to sit the lappy on and play online at the same time. Geo

Rain and wind isn't a problem, its like that most days. As you would imagine I have the waterproofs. More worried about the ice and snow tbh and the extra potential for nasty accidents. The clue was in the Scotsman saying when the weather gets bad - lol Geo
