That must be it.

Can't think of any other reason.

Right then I've decided to walk the dog first so my effort won't be available until quite late.

Also I've been inspired by Cos to include a picture of the dog's dinner before I start cooking.

This should be good enough to take the win and I can just ring for a pizza.

OMG!!!  Only soup you'll catch me making from a packet or tin is chicken noodle soup mainly because I can't be arsed to put the effort into something so basic.

But man oh man, nothing beats a good pot of home made chowder or potato and leek soup in the winter.  For summer months gazpacho soup is the bomb!  That and some freshly made mezzaluna bread is me in heaven!

Homemade soup is awesome. Much better than the tinned stuff.

But I'm not making that now. I'm instead making what we know as "random stir fry".

The dog.....

His dinner

On the right we have our main course of 250g of chopped beef.

On the left we have our desert of a partial lamb's rib cage.

I realise that presentation might not be perfect here but to fair he will be eating it as it is off the floor.

If I only beat Kev with this effort which is possible now that CF is actually making proper food then I will make my curry later.

If I can win with Ronnie's dinner then I'll be having a takeaway. Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.......

That is one beast of a dog!   Now I understand the digs you got for taking him to a park where the elderly play.

PS  Your dinner beats Kev's already.  GG
