Right then, Going to Vegas in Januaruy (brag, obv) with 10 mates as several of us are turning 30 in either December or January - I imagine most nights that we will just be playing it by beer or doing things in smaller groups but I'm trying to be little bit organised and plan 1 big night out for us all in advance as main celebration.

We'll be going for posh nosh and then onto bar/club after which I'm not planning as anything could happen Wink

Its the bar/club part of the night I need some help with.... To give you idea of the sort of thing I want to do, I've been emailing Voodoo Lounge and getting some info on table service packages. All sounds ideal and I've heard some good things but never been myself

Can anyone reccomend Voodoo as good place to go for main part of the night??  Is it the sort of place we will be happy to stay most of the night or is a flying visit the best option??

I've been to Pure before but didn't have a great night, so wouldn't be in a hurry to go back

All suggestions welcome and for restaurant come to think of it although we nearly decided on that I think.

Cheers

Vodoo is ok but not for the main part of the night its v small the main attraction is the roof terrace but its a bit cold that time of year.

XS is the absolute nuts imo, situated in the walkway between the Wynn and Encore, i won't describe it but if you look on the website you will see how good it looks.

PM me if you need any help sorting it out.

N9ne at the Palm follwed by The Ghost Bar.  Usually very scenic, better than voodoo.  Haven't been in over a year, but judging by the quality of the line to get in, it hasn't changed!

Last time we told the N9ne waiter about wanting to go upstairs to Ghost bar but were put off by the Q - he got us straight in, so either book something in advance or ask the waiter for some help BEFORE you tip for the meal Wink

That said, wouldn't put you off XS either.  Eating posh nosh at the Wynn can be pretty expensive, if no one minds that's great.  Alex would be good "posh nosh" but if you ever want to run good in credit card roullette, this would be the time.  Wing Lei was a pretty good Chinese, they had a Peking Duck 5-course special at about $75 and a Chef Signature dinner at about $120, different from the standard Chinese fare.
