dilemma

last sunday when coming home after our weekend up north i took a break from driving duties and was taking it easy in the passenger seat reading the paper. all very pleasant. we had just come round past a place called crianlarach on the a85 heading towards stirling/perth. anyway the peace was shattered by a number of 'speed merchants'. we were sitting behind a big lorry, and tricia was trying to find a place to overtake. because she isnt used to driving my car she was a bit unsure, and by this time it was obvious we had ended up the middle of a race. first car, porsche 911 turbo goes flying past both of us, the 3 x tvrs , a merc sl55amg, and another couple of serious pieces of machinery. thats fair enough - they knew what they were doing and were not causing any danger.
keeping up the rear were two honda s2000's. first one went to pass us and the lorry and realised that he didnt quite have the same power as the other cars, and tricia had to brake quite sharply to let him in in front. i was a bit upset about this but couldnt do much about it as she was trying to concentrate on the road. when the second of these hondas starts to perform the same move. i could see the bend ahead, and could see the truck coming the other way. i told her not to let him in (by this time i am incandescent with rage) but eventually she backed off and he made it in with moments to spare.
you would think he would have been grateful, instead we got the 'wanker' signal (he had the roof down) . by this time her nerves were shot and we had to stop. i made a mental note of the number plate (it was a distinctive colour) and vowed if i saw him again, he would be sorry...given this was around 70 miles from home, i didnt think i would.
so imagine my surprise 5 days later when i am with my brother up at a local car dealership looking at new cars for him, when i saw the very same car leaving the carpark. i went back this afternoon, and it is there again. obviously the guy works there (there is a honda dealership on the complex).
so theres the dilemma. do you
a) forget all about it and just move on.
b) go into the honda dealership and ask him if he was on the a85 last sunday. if he says yes, then kick the living crap out of him.
c) waste lots of his time by pretending to buy a car and watch him squirm when he registers the car i am trading in
d) talk to his boss
e) talk to the police. i have a couple of uniformed friends who could pay him a visit at his place of work and scare him shitless.
decisions decisions....

Obviously the correct answer is a), but that's no fun...
Whatever you do, the number one consideration is to make sure it doesn't come back on you. Therefore, I'd go with e) - make sure you are never identified and that your police friends simply say that he was spotted driving dangerously/carelessly/whatever.

in the cold light of day I think one can look back and admit that risking 4 or more people's lives cos some twat is driving badly makes one, dare I say it, a bit of a wanker

so a bloke tried to overtake you but because you were pissed off with what some other people had just done you decided to try and persuade your mrs to run him into a truck
when she only lets him in with moments to spare you're surprised you get a wanker sign?

actually my missus had driven flawlessly. it was the twat who was endangering lives. if he maybe hadnt thought his hairdressers motor had suddenly become a bugatti veyron then none of this would have happened.

he didnt try to overtake me - he was trying to overtake us, and the lorry, but because he ran out of power/ability/bottle he then had to endanger us to get back in.
we were also keen to get past the lorry but had been prevented from doing so for about three miles because of the 'race' that seemed to be going on

Just walk into the showroom while he is with some punters and mention that if he wishes to drive like Ayrton Senna, he should get a decent motor and not a fkin Honda.
Then politely ask him if you could have a word with his gaffer, as you wish to comment on his driving of his company car.

In that case Laz, just walk into the showroom and twat him.

So you told her not to let him in, and she did what as a result? Keep the gap between you and the lorry closed, the gap he would need to move into should he realise that he probably couldn't complete the overtaking manoeuvre and run into an oncoming truck? If she had followed your advice, kept the gap closed, villain tries to pull back in, can't, tries to complete overtake, can't, what happens then?

You forgot to add that Laz should put a note on the car windscreen advising the driver to seek counselling for his near miss and that he would pay his bill
