Not many sharp minds on this thread.
Im impartial and dont give a toss either way but to me Kev is bidding for 2 reasons, 1 to buy a cheap present which is fair enough, i mean it means they were gonna go chepaer anyway if he didnt bid, so what diff. Or 2, to buy and sell on to make a profit, which is pretty scummy, the sort of thing you do BUT dont tell anyone lol.
So basically if its 2 he pays the full whack, if its 1 he pays his new offer which is fair to both sides.
So the real question is "Whats his missus shoe size?"
ps- ignored it could be for bit on side, no offence Kev

It was clearly this and i assumed he was partly hoping he would be outbid so that they'd make a profit and partly hoping he'd get a decent pair a shoes for a decent price without anyone losing much money, seems fair to me

OK, well on the presumption that at least some of you are being serious, I'll say my bit. No doubt everyone will jump up and say they were joking and that I'm a miserable old cow with no sense of humour. Whatever.
It's pretty obvious that Kev was bidding on these shoes to help you guys out with the auctions, and all the chat on here about bagging himself some cheap shoes was tongue in cheek. Anyone that knows Kev also knows he'd never fuck anyone over, never mind openly deride them whilst he's doing it. This bloke has also, let's not forget, put a shit load into this place with the mods stuff (which he does for nothing), updating, and his excellent support on the cardroom (which he does for, I presume, not very much). What started out, and continued as, a really fun thread has taken a rather uncomfortable turn in the last couple of days.
It may be pennies to some of you guys, but I'm pretty sure £95 is a heck of a chunk of cash for Kev, especiallly this close to Christmas. Let's not screw the guy that was trying to help out and got his fingered burned.
He gets paid for his cardroom job every month, and he gets paid for updating. He doesn't get paid for modding, as with everyone else who is a mod. Don't see why this should give him any special treatment.

Re-list the shoes, sell them then charge kev the difference, kev will lose out on like 20/30£ cheap price for being an idiot imo

The one post that did make me laugh was the suggestion he would probably stick back any profits he made from buying and selling back into blondepoker. Not quite sure how much people thought he would make but I just pictured him sticking some 50pences into the meter whilst Flushy thanked him and moaned about the credit crunch.

Even if it was 2 why is that a problem? If he's bidding more than anyone else then they get more money for the sale. Whatever his motives for bidding on the shoes it's increasing the money you make.

Only if he doesnt grim them when he has the winning bid...

Can I make a suggestion for Paul's next venture?
GoGo Hamsters
. Queues outside ToysRUs when due stock apparently. Go for about £50 (5xRRP) on Amazon marketplace or ebay. Could be fun
