Could any Luton regulars give me a clue as to the quality of players you get in the £30 tourny each Tuesday?

I quite fancy playing tonight - but I'm worried it might be too much of a step up in class, too soon.

Usual mix I'd imagine. Some good players, and some clowns.

Based on Snatty's other post he's not very likely to hold onto the lead for long (cos he ain't gonna be there).
Mind u, based on September form of rest of leaguers, phil could still take the crown even if he plays at stanleys for the rest of the year! 8-)

SirGotchyLot is most unimpressed that they r changing Monday nites from October!

Blonde in waiting imo
Strike-rate of late that would make MDD blush. The word pro seems to get misused a lot re: poker players imo. Gotchy is quality but doesn't play for a living.

He's always very civil when he knocks people out    .......       I've noticed many at Luton are downright rude when they get your chips!

One guy called me a "dunk"    ....      what is that (I'm not au fait with a lot of this 'pokerspeak').

I gave the small blind every indication that I had his pocket tens beat but he could not take the hint.
He proceeded to try and 'donk' off all his remaining chips and flopped quads against my jacks.
This guy is a real donk. I'll point him out sometime...

If a poker player is called a 'donkey,' he's a bad player who makes blatantly bad poker plays. A weak player.

Donkey is also shortened to "donk" by many players.
