Good luck to the Circus Circus staff, it seems they are far more adept at giving players what they want than the bunch down the road. This month should have acted as a wake-up call for the G-boys innit.

Seems like guarantees work ( wot a surprise ) serious one in the eye for the G imo.. I sometimes wonder what kind of business sense the people up top in these organisations actually have... I've been in business for 18 years and if I treated my customers like the grosvenor does id been in the poor house long since..they have a product that has experienced a boom like never before and did they capitalize on it... invest in the product? give the customers what they want? of course not, are they blind, more poker punters= more on the table games at breaks and knockouts..sigh just see the basic principle right in front of your eye..run the room as a loss leader ( don't need to pay 50% tax on nothing boys ),make it back at the tables and bar and build it until its self sustaining and reap the reward in the other areas..it ain't rocket science boys

No league names among the top seven last night, everyone instead focusing on the tournament down the road it seems.

Before lucky pipes in with how bad i am, i have a cracker from last night. 1/2 nlh, 9 handed. 300 effective.

Couple of stars limp, i open A8suited in the cutoff. Button calls, 1 limper folds, other guys calls. Flop KsJ8. He leads £10 into £35, i raise to £25, button folds. Flop 10s. Guy  check calls £60 ( pending reads/card obv im shipping river). River offsuit Q. He checks, i bet smallish, £75 or so. He starts fiddling with his chips, umming and taking an eternity before asking the dealer what the minimum is he can raise. Im getting bored so tell him take ur money back its a chop. He flips K9, then states i let him off the hook coz he wanted to go allin, As per mr.channing, marvellous.
