Amazing scenes, Tighty grinds out a fifth, while Compo gets off the mark with a career-best finish in 8th of 37.

errrr what? how the hell does that get points compo!!!! i cry foul play.

looks like the savers were put on the official pay out.  I'm not a fan of anything but the advertised places receiving points tbh, but it's Chompy's baby.

the venue now recognises deals and puts all savers on the payouts, for the cage to pay out rather than rely on the players to do so

as was said previously on the thread somehwere, its a cash so it counts. That would be my view.

I suppose it's still early enough in the year that it won't make much of a difference over the course of the league, but it does seem a little harsh on those who have taken savers before they were officially recognised.

not that it matters in the grand scheme of things for the moment - but i've played 1 tourney now Smiley

alas my 27th of 40ish runners was 3 places short of the chop so i scored no points Sad

Just sound angle shooting by campo Compo. It was possible to get extended payments put on the system on 1 Jan (Alex got 1pt that day for 13th I think).

I don't believe that is the case Chompy - Alex's 13th was an offically paid place iirc due to the number of runners.

I for one like the league and  thank Chompy (et al) for running it......it has produced much fun and whilst there are things about the point scoring that may not suit everyone it is a damn sight better than the suggestion for Formula one...... there have been no secrets as regards points......so come on one and all leave the chompsta alone.
