Nothing doing Friday, nothing doing Saturday, but it all kicked off on Sunday. Reports that Sir Donksalot had exited first, during level 1, were confirmed before 5pm.
But, as much as it pains me to say it, he got unlucky this time, with the player who decided to take on his QQ having no idea re: pot odds facing an all-in bet on the turn.
Otherwise, Dingdell got off the mark for the campaign with a respectable fourth, while leap and bounder Nirvana nicked a few more points in eighth.

I'm sorry but my exit hand yesterday was absolutely horrible...

25-50 couple of limper's me QQ mid...now this is luton so big raises in order to get the fish out...so 500 it is... which i know is ridiculously high..however much less and your taking on five of them... however utg +1 calls out of position..his hand the mighty  .

As we know this is a horrible call OP for 500... just blind fishing for a flop.. with position ud still struggle to justify it..but this a concept lost in this case

flop is 9 7 3 ...2 diamonds and the limper leads for 600. I'm pretty sure Oppo checks a big hand here as his habits pretty straightforward, to induce and i feel the lead is weakish.. I re raise to 2K ready to fold to a push.. Oppo flat calls..this is the only part of the hand I agree with as the the amount of outs on the flop with a pair and a draw.. although i prefer a push here as the pot is already big and OP to the turn means you cant call another big bet.. LOL

Turns a blank and Oppo checks... I'm 95% sure where I am here.. pretty sure I'm facing a flush draw..from the limp call pre flop, the lead and flat call... ( Iknow it could b a set..but the flop lead sealed the read..this oppo just doesnt do it..)the pot is now in excess of 5K and I have 5300 odd back.. and I move in knowing he cant call as he has nowhere near the odds (3-1 dog..2-1 his money )and his not going to put 80% of his stack in needing to get lucky with 1 card to come..I've all but turned my hand over..

Without doubt its one of the worst calls I've ever seen and to put that much in knowing your losing and need to get lucky is absolutely horrible..of course he Bink's a diamond on the river and its goodnight.....

My only post analysis is that so early in the comp i didn't need to make the pot so big..but i went with the read and it was true.. just can't account for bad play..

9 4 is the nuts to see a flop as we both know but not op to a 10x raise

id still put it up beacuase it was so bad..(not a bad beat..just relaying a horribly played hand... took it at the table got up and made my exit with little comment

I don't actually as the pot was big enough there and then ..would have been happy.. just some people see a marginal and want to call off all their chips..
