Having updated all weekend was extremely keen to play live tonight at Luton

Last week I had raised the issue of the new £20 rebuy being dealer dealt with Niall and his exact words were "the first one will be, we'll see after that"

So I turn up tonight. First surprise is he wants £20+£5.50 charge. £5.50 charge? 27.5% rake. Ugh. Sure it's a nitty complaint but the principle is valid. The price is too much for the comp. I know operating costs have risen, but I expect the casino to pull out all the stops in return for that.......

Secondly I note the small round tables are set up and I ask the obvious question "not dealer dealt then?"

"I said we would wait and see"

and we proceeded to argue over what he had said last Wednesday

Pretty hacked off with the standard of customer service, false promises and being asked to pay nearly 30% rake for an inferior service to that normally offered I withdrew

I won't be back on Monday's unless it changes

Good points, fair enough Tighty. Played last nights comp and enjoyed it although the standard of dealing was poor. I understand they need experience before they really improve but things like moving the button and not telling a player who was on the button to act first surely should be known!

I'm afraid this still counts as a tournament played for league purposes...

Good news, though, spoke to Simon last night. Apparently there has been a system upgrade. It may now be possible to check how many games each leaguer has actually played this year...

And amongst the various complaints about dealers and charges, at least one improvement: Niall is recognising FT deals again and making them official.

It will be amusing to see some of the differences imo. I fancy we'll have a somewhat different league table after the correct figures are revealed.

Market on most likely culprit?

Would it be one of the old grinders making a genuine mistake as they can't even remember what they had for lunch?  Or one of the young dancers deliberately trying to improve their embarrasing average?

P.S. Next year, rather than a points sytsem, should be a straight £ P&L imo.  How many points does a player currently need to have in order to be showing a profit?
