A career day for the Luton Blondey League today imo, and I'm delighted to announce that British Gas, Luther and Rockstar (not my nickname this one) have provisionally been accepted by the elders for League 2010 status. If they want in of course.

Oy Oy - Don't forget me Mr Chompster...

You've been around so long Drainy, you is part of the furniture.
It goes without saying you will be propping up in the league next season.

do I get a prize for the most savers?

The new 'Monday night out at the G'    ......        a weird, and wonderful, experience.

A motley crew of regulars was joined by many newbies for the inaugral Mutiny on the Bounty tournament - with the added spice that by taking your first opponent out      ......          you were £4.50p ahead of the Juice Extractor.

It started with all the 'finesse' of a £5 re-buy held during an after hours lock in at the local estate pub, chips flying everywhere, without a care in the world.

'All' of the second hand in at 25/50, I decided to punish the limpers to the UTG's weakish raise with my AK on the BB - 525 extra, UTG (a lad that won promotion - via the Playoffs - from the £30 Tues Sextuple Chance, on penalties) flats - the rest disappear, K to the flop. and I progressively jack the bet up all the way to the river as the board improves further till I get the nut spade flush.

Having paid off my final bet of 1500+ he shows me he had the       ......        "So unlucky", I consoled.

Rabid play continued on all tables, and a starting field of 27 was down to 17    .....    by the first phuqqin break!

A game of poker eventually broke out after the nictine break - but I noted the alarming stack the Tiddly Diddly was amassing on another table, with all that knowledge he has gleaned from watching Ian Frazer on Late Night Poker.

Finally got to the Final Table with not a lot of chips and managed to get it in with KK against the second chipleader's poxridden AA.

I soon wiped the smug smile off his face when the - pre-ordained - K popped out     ......       ffs, don't these muppets realise who they're up against?

The very next hand former second chipleader goes all in, quickly followed by Diddly - I feel obliged to join the party with AA against Smug's 10 10, and Tiddles' KK.

Well obviously the 10s rule supreme - but I only lose 3k on the coup, thanks to the side pot thingy with TD.

I finally bowed out with  to TD's  , and wandered off to collect a bit of scalp money + £240.

A particularly strange comp (I'm still trying to decide if I do, or I don't like it) which has real value, but only if the same collection of newbies turn up    .....      and if you can avoid the 'Play any Two Cards' Shanghai Kid.

Chompy, a question about joining this League of yours for 2010     ........

Are the rumours true that mine - and Rockstar's - admittance are subject to 'certain' conditions?

We will not accept anything over the minus 60 points handicap mooted     ......      as we consider it could take right till the end of February to lead the field!

Could you please clarify The Blondeite Handiclapping System, to put our minds at rest?

Bruce Lee`s love child is taking the phrase," running hot " to new levels of depravity.

Such a nice bloke so its hard to get hump with him calling with any two,i guess you want these people to call in the long run,but just how long is his piece of string???

Of course it isn't Darren, this spanking 'brand new' competition took months of formulation by The Grosvenor Thinktank.

How can it be compared to Saturday's comp?

Last night there were no drunks falling over the card tables, there were no Jeremy Kyle bleach blonde burds that had 'poured' their 18 stone frames into size 12 cocktail dresses, and it was dealer dealt    ......          how on earth can you not see that this is new?

Monday night is the softest game of the week no question.

Has a unique regular group that wont be seen any other night of the week for some reason.

If you can dodge those any 2 card bullets then fairly straight forward a, b, c ,poker will get you a decent cash imo.

Missed out last night, had to take the enemy to the wonderfull Galaxy centre for a few beers and an evening trying to win tickets out of the machines that we exchanged for prizes at the end.

Came home with 6 bouncy balls,an ace of spades key-ring,a pen that lights up in the dark with a random semi-clad bint on it,and a spongebob squarepants teddy.

Who needs poker.

Sigh.
Entry rights may be revoked at any stage.
You don't seem to realise, this is the PROPER league, not that guff nationwide jobbie run by the G.
You are now taking on some of the game's GREATS.
Let's just see how Messrs Loofer, Gassy, Alien and Rocky get on when the REAL pressure begins on 1 January eh innit?
