Also a little sad you had to trawl this entire thread to find some way of cheating.... sigh..i'm afraid I will have to take some time to consider my position...

LOL, your position is...just below me and just above the relegation zone.

Sir Donkeys, it saddened me to have to correct the table and it was with a heavy heart that I removed the 10pts that were only ever added on erroniously.

As stated, though, is was another league member that bought the anomolomaly to the attention of the powers that be.

Please don't shoot the messenger.

Yesterday - deeply perturbed by the resurgence of the zimmerframed OAPs challenge to the dominance of Luton Final Tables by myself, and Rockstar - I thought a day out at the seaside was in order.

After meeting Scouse Bill for many lager aperitifs we eventually set off for the Isle(?) of Fanit in some motor he'd thieved from the pub carpark.

A drearily uneventful drive - not a 'Police Interceptor' to have a tear up on the A2, in sight - we arrived at an out of town shopping Mall, with a G tacked on the side for good measure, in the middle of phuqqin nowhere.

More beers in the quaint, nay historic, Toby Carvery(circa 2007) over the road and we presented ourselves for the £100 F/O side event at GUKPT (Kent).

Johnny Vacc and Wheelchair Pete knocking about - they confided that the night before Bingo Bill had got totally out of his 'league' and had been scalped at the cash tables     ......      they forgot to give the whereabouts of the Riley's Snookerhall where he met his doom!

Eighty odd runners for the Ton F/O and I slurped, burped, and farted my way through a field mainly made up of locals -  that wouldn't have looked out of place in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, such was the obvious inbreeding - and got to my rightful place on the Final Table.

Out in eighth place - I really will have to reread that Chompy Super Cistern book again - and off into night a little disappointed that this 'satellite' against the Oddjobs of Kent hadn't realised the - expected - one bag requisite for entry into the Day 2 of the Main Event.

Thus I shall see you all at Headquarters tonight to man the barricades, alongside Rockie, to repel the incursions on the Prizepool by The League of (Old) Gentlemen, Tiddly Diddly Squiddly, AlexplayanytwofartinMartin      .....        although, as all will agree, there's nothing that can be done about Seb (I just hope I get H/U with him, and I'll tell him that Nina says he's barred if he doesn't go and play Blackjack for the next hour).

Hang on a minute Chumpy. How can you deduct points that YOU awarded by mistake? Surely the blame lies with you?

All wrong IMO.

Roflcoptors.

It was a genuine mistake and I can only apologise to Sir Donkeys but I'm sure he wouldn't want any points that weren't rightfully his?

PS, thanks for the tip off about the original rule...

It doesn't look like the Luton G's resident Sar Fraffrickan got his money's worth at Fannit.

Reproduced with the kind permission of the Norvern Yobbos at AWOP;

On a board of 8--10--2--Q

James Miller got it all in with Peter Charalambous making the call...

James.......8-10
Petere........J-9

River is a blank and James is down to 300 chips..

The very next hand he heads out!!!

Done and dusted in 28 minutes (£37.86 a minute  .....     could've hired a 'top escort' for that sort of money)

Are we now allowed to argue about League matters with our glorious leader, organiser, & stripey-shirted good egg?

I think in these matters Lord Chomps should adopt the posture of the Jockey Club, or a Golf Club Committee. One's word is final, there is no appeal, & all that.

It would be un-dignified to see the impeccably-attired Chomps in a Clowns Outfit, whereas we are used to Sir Donkalot being, well, "creatively" dressed.
