Chomps, I've had my plate put on hold when I sold my last car, have retention or whatever its called. Do you know if I can transfer it over to my new car without having to find a DVLA to go to?

Dunno about that Rooks. It's all been a steep learning curve, which prob serves me right for being enough of a tosspot to buy a personalised numberplate anyway.
My new plate can't be used on a car that's registered before 1 March 2010 as you can't make a car look newer than it is.
Apparently I get sent a document saying that CH10 MPY is mine, all mine. This I need to take to the Audi Dealership for them to knock up a couple of plates.
Obv I want the letters and numbers to be italic, with gold outline, and a neon strip around the entire plate. Anything less would just be tacky.

By the way, RO10 KEE is also available for £390.

SC10 TTY has unsurprisingly been sold.

But SH10 TTY is unsurprisingly still up for grabs.

u def have to go to a dvla centre.... think theres one in stanmore that's pretty efficient..go in the morning ..in and out pretty quick..

can't you do it online?

its been about 3 years since i last done it but to u always had to go to a dvla centre regarding retention certificates..

I think its scandalous... the G is one of the best card rooms in the country... whoever makes the big decisions should be removed immediately as they have absolutely no idea what they are doing.. apat sunday they had 4 comps running simultaneously a la' DTD all pretty smoothly too.. which just proves Niall, Nina and the team are more than capable...

I'm doing exactly what Kev has suggested and I'm not playing any of the fessie as I knew it would be poor value as no one knew abut it...FFS the only reason i knew cos Chompy posted the line up, instead going to DTD Saturday...

They could have massive fessies at the G..just a bit of time, effort and a little cash..its not too much to ask... Christ theres enough degens on the circuit that they would make a pretty penny on the table games... Sigh..

What a Joke ................They always said they would not change any Schedule ...............If i was aware it was a 1 dayer i would have maybe played .... and also why change the stack size its well out of order as this was far from The Comp featured on the Leaflet in the casino

If they made Monday night more chips maybe more people might have took part as many players thought 6000 was to skinny .........

Lets be frank ............No Marketing..................No Internet Adverts.................And 3 years ago i gave in my email Address and not received any emails ever....................... Head Office are clueless in promoting the Card room and the Disastrous turnout signifies how much Work they need to do to repair the faith they have lost with The Players who stayed away and have answered with their feet...........................I was only aware of The Festival when chompy put up The Schedule on The Blonde Website...........It is not his Job to Promote the Event it is the duty of The G Casino !!!

Tighty, Tikay and Snat seemed to give up a while ago trying to make a difference to the shambles that is G Luton.
I'm on a one-donk crusade on here re: whinging about the website and lack of advertising, not that it'll ever change anything prob.

PS, the festival still doesn't show up no the official Grosvenor website and is highly unlikely to until it's over imo. GG.
