Nina, whatever became of the January Festival we had last year, the one during which The Sicilian chased home Nick Salad in the main event?
Consigned to the Luton history books or shuffled back to February?

EASTER EGGSTRAVAGANZA - Nice one guys!!!!!

Make sure the word hits the streets and success will be achieved...... The card room is going from strength to strength.........(except when Niall calls me late at night to ask about omaha....only kidding you guys are stars and the new dealers are as well!!!!!!

Also get the competition week ranked and you will caputre the travelling poker pros.........(value add for the comps hahaha)

Maybe even ask Chompmiester to have the comps double ranked in the Blondeite league...not sure tho since it is Easter and we know how religious Lord Chompie is.....

Again keep up the good work.

Jeff

Festivals are always lovely.
Double points for Festival events is a possibility imo. I'll wait and see where I am in the league in April before deciding...
Might still do double points for events with 100+ runners in, backdated to include New Year's Day obv.

Any chance of Blonde running a satellite or two to any of these?  I seem to recall them before but not sure what the uptake was?  Guess it wasn't good so probably not viable this time, but thought I'd ask the question.

Generally struggle is the word!...but being Luton/£300/ plenty of notice.....I think we could send one or two !?

uptake was low

if there was firm demand from say 10+ people for a sat/sats I would seek permission from Luton to run them again

Update for Chompy, please Update the League to reflect this.....

I played Jan 1st, unplaced.

I played Monday January 5trh. Placed 5th, officially, cashed. I think there were less than 100 runners.

That make me top?

Traffic Jam on M1 now with people trying to get to Luton for the value, You were warned by the Highways agency not to post on the internet about you playing (adding value) to poker tournaments. I better set off now, might get in as an alternate...
