Loads of league players on show last night but none made the top five, so no points I'm afraid. The Sicilidonk did best in eighth for...no points, nil, nada, zero.

A good turnout of blondes tonight but only bottom boy The Sicilian is left at the time of writing, the start of the final table.
I'm thinking about bringing in two new rules (will sleep on them):
1. Any player questioning the editor's decisions/scoring may be docked points;
2. Any 'player' who's big stack with ten left and manages to bubble the final table may be disqualified.

THE SICILIAN STRIKES BACK

The Poker Gods are alive and well and beware anyone who dares incur them...As Compo found out last night..

4 tables out and and with chips he makes a £20 bet with 3 of us that he makes the final table...... with his propensity to spew this was too good to miss...however with ten of us left he is probably chip leader ....sigh FML..

However by standing up from his seat and waving my £20 at me in a farewell gesture his fate was sealed as he tried to push out an UTG raise from the rock of Gibraltar with 99 for 80% of his stack..she duly stuck it to him with Kings..

The laughter was loud and the mocking began... and he looked the proverbial queasy parrot..

I immediately offered a £10 bounty on his head and Mrs Alterman duly obliged LOL...

It has to be the funniest thing I've seen for ages... I have never seen Compo so deflated...priceless....

Oh and I was 8th Chompy for £100 ..as I managed to run Aces headalong into flopped QUAD 10's....Jeeeezzzz I run good...So chalk them points up as I make a Spurs like surge for mid table.....

Bless Compo.....he is like an electric car.....just push the pedal and go......no gears at al. He got his chips so early it was agonising watchingf having to pass such quality as J3 and 96. It was as always only a matter of time.....
What terrific fun it was last night though. Knocking out Tom was fun but MDD thinking he could crack my  with a hand as lousy as Kings.....I am going to be listening to him bleating about that one for many months to come.....l

Please tell me you didn't 2.5x raise with aces on the button like you did v Dave Johnson? OK running into quad 10s when you've played aces properly but must hurt otherwise imo...
Points will only be awarded if the result on here shows paymentage down to 8th place. Otherwise, it's looking like another Tikay-style schoolboy error in not having the system amended to show you attaining a podium finish. I'm counting the minutes until the result appears here and only shows five places, lol.

For future prizemoney bubblage merchants, here are two easy steps to ensure league points are awarded:
1. Get the table to agree to pay extended places.
2. Walk up to the desk and say 'Nina/Simon/Niall, we're paying £x to Xth, Xth and Xth position, could you make the necessary amendments on the system please.'
