Looks like my cunning plan to get bubble payment put on the system won't work in future. Damn Grosvenor for copying MY league idea and taking away my angle.
I refer The Sicilian back to this passage from the original Blondeite League rules:

"Win - 15ts, Second - 12, Third - 9, Fourth - 7, Fifth - 6, Sixth - 5, Seventh - 4, Eighth - 3, Ninth - 2, any other registered finish - 1 (only points for top seven if seven paid; only points for top five if five paid)."

I'm afraid this is no more a podium finish than last winter's second to Nick Salad was a 'win'.
It's a shame that no points will be awarded and I wish there was something I could do about the situation - I really do - but rules are rules I'm afraid.
