Just spoke to kalum, it is def a 4pm start.

Cheers.

All I have to do now is negotiate an early exit from the family lunch ! On coffees now, so should be OK.

I rushed like mad to get there for 4.10pm, only to find that it hadn't started and that I was only the 15th entrant.

Kalam said he'd decided to delay the start until 4.30pm to compensate for the confusion and web site error.

In the end I'd estimate that we got started at around 4.45pm, with just over 30 runners, but alternates got this up to 50 in the end.

managed to run over my opening table despite the bloke who called me with 10 high post flop and then binked his card on the turn telling me i hadnt bet enough ( half the pot ) for him to lay no hand down..then in the next breath said... u know me i don't like to waste chips... despite limp calling every raise...COCK !

Up to 14 K level 2 lost a little bit in a race with a short stacked mr (i'm blessed) Kan LOL then got moved from my lovely passive table to the usual ace rag king rag brigade..

Unusual for me decided to have a drink as my right arm was acheing and shaking.. probably too many forward movements... it was a mistake as the drink can make me aggressive in all kinds of ways and i got it in with AK on a.. k 10 3 flop only to find my utg raise had been called by mr K 10 despite playing only playing 3 hands in 4 orbits..good call nice read mbn.. then went on almighty tilt and just threw in the last 1500 without looking.. i'll go and fetch my clown cloak now..cos i might as well look like one if im going to play like one

LOL, good to see lessons learned from the previous week.

What happened last Sunday was the website said 5pm, the printed schedule said 4pm and Kalam made a last-minute decision to start it at 4.30pm.

Groundhog day ftw...

Just sent the new blog chapter to the Racing Post. Not sure when it will be put on the website though.

What - in theory, assuming Luton get it right - is tonight's scheduled Tourney, please?

Was planning on a quiet night at my Heathrow Hotel, as I'm down South for a few days, & had a heavy weekend, but seem to recall Monday was switching to a £75 Freezeout or somesuch?

If so, I could, possibly, be tempted.....

Chompy

I hadn't included Sunday in my games played total for May as it was a last minute decision to play. Please add one to my total.

Glad I went too, as I FT'd and placed 5th.

Alan.

Think I'll give it a miss Mr Snataclite.

I thought the June Schedule, which changed this Tourney from the old £50 + £50 + £500 to ?, started in....err, June, no?

1.52. Can't believe you need a calculator for that.

At school, in my day, we were not allowed calculators. And I passed my Settling Exams with Wm Hill without a calculator, or a Genie, even though Genies were in existence at the time. What ever happened to Genie Settling Machines?

So, what Comp is it tonight?

Obv I knew it was 1.518519 but didn't want to blow my cover as a mathematical genius innit.
Tonight's comp is a $560 deepstack at the venetian. Or a 50x3 at the G. You choose.
There's shreddies everywhere I look...
