Executed the perfect bluff last night.. a thing of beauty. Norman Chad would have called it the bluff of Wednesday.. Snatty and Nirvana ran for the hills.. unfortunately tried to get it past Dennis 'the yank ' Barnes who sighed and called me with 3 pair ... LOL... Lucky I was bluffing as it was the only thing he could beat.

He then donked about 13k to Lalits turn bet and river push calling with 2nd pair 4 kicker.. was LOL as he was genuinely gutted he'd lost

Executed the perfect bluff?

More like butchered a stack. When will you learn that the yank is unbluffable?

Sorry, but I claim the Bluff of the Night. Not easy to grim Chomps for £300, you know.

Officially WPITW is Dennis, just awful.
Even worse, though, is anyone that tries to bluff him. Ever. The most pointless exercise since Kalam was called over that time to give a ruling.

LOL. Honestly. You give folk a week to get their act together. £2k in £50 notes please.
One turns up with a couple of plastic blue things plus £600.
The other turns up honking of curry with a pocketful of £20 jobbies.
Use those lucky dollars wisely please.

Top Cat Chompy grimmed?

Would serve him right for feeling the need to count out the money given to him in an unopened bag...shame top cat, shame

One can't be too careful with TV stars imo, they get to all sorts of antics.

I felt humiliated, & insulted, my integrity has been violated.

Galloway gives him a scraggy brick-sized wad of filthy £20 notes, & Chomps just pockets it, never counted it. I give him £1,000 in £50's in a sealed Casino packet, & he opens it to count it. Then throws it all over the floor, Phil Ivey balla style.

So I grimmed him, I got £2k worth for £1,700. Very satisfying.

It's getting towards the end of Juuuuuuuuune, so time to start letting me know how many you've played this month please. Up to and inc next Tuesday imo.

Away from league business for a minute, I watched an interview with Simon Trumpet on Sky's 'The Club' last night. Best show on Sky by a long chalk imo.
Anyway, he was asked whether the recession had affected DTD. His answer was no, footfall was up, mainly because they started staging two tournaments each night. For example, one with a buy-in of around £20, the other £50 plus.
Given that the numbers for Tuesday's £30 donk-off are always good, would it be worth Luton trying something similar?
How about a £20 FO Mon, Wed, Thu and Fri, starting at 8pm?
The forward-thinking management will surely consider it?

Lol.

DTD run as many as FOUR Tourneys some nights. They all have their own Colour-coded Plasmas, & players exits are recorded on each Plama within 15 seconds of each Exit. Each Tourney starts on time to the second, & all breaks are exactly to the second. At the start of the Break, the Clock just ticks down, & at "Zero", the Dealers just start Dealing. None of this is even remotely difficult. The Prize Money, for every Spot, is on the Plasma as soon as Registrsation closes.

So yes, let's hope Luton give it a spin.

It's achingly sad how bad Luton has become at running things, but I love the people who play there, so they've got me trapped all ends up.

We is now halfway through the league season. Has Compo retired from poker? MonkeyMatt still on two? Want me to keep you in sir?
It's all to try and get Sir Donksalot as far down the table as poss. Once his 20 June tourneys have been added in, we'll get a much more accurate reflection.

Just 4 in June for me - I think. If that's wrong, Sir Snitchalot will put you right.

I'll not be playing any more Luton Tourneys this month.
