The frying pan - yes, it hurts when I pick it up. (It often hurts when Mrs Red picks it up too....)
How does physio fix your tendons?
No idea Tom. He pokes and prods and before you know it you're all fixed. Basically he straightens everything out so that nothing is putting undue stress on anything else. From what I understand it's the muscles and skeleton that pull tendons out of where they're supposed to be. By fixing the skeleton the muscles get to stay where they're supposed to be as they aren't having to compensate. When the muscles are where they're supposed to be they don't put undue stress on tendons. My wrist problems actually came from problems in my shoulders which were causing other problems. Mine was a tendon that was out of it's usual groove by the way. If a tendon is torn or ripped I think you're screwed.

how long do you think it will take to get a 6 pac?
Depends on how much fat you've got around your waist. If you've got no fat then not long at all. If you've got fat then it take's as long as it takes to get rid of that.

Finished training now for this week.
I had to do Monday to Thursday because I'm away for the weekend and needed to get 4 in for the prop.
I've been doing more abs training recently as it's summer.
Bit sad I know but when summer comes and it's time to hit the beach you need to get those abs sorted.
I've done 4 short sessions this week and included planks in every one. I've been doing them with my feet elevated on a medicine ball just to add a bit of difficulty and I can't deny that they hurt like hell after not too long at all.
I've made a few minor alterations to my routine this week. I've been working in more isolation exercises with higher reps and lower weights.
I'm hoping this will help my shoulders which are still giving me major grief. The wrist seems good now though so at least that's something.
Back on dumbell pressing on Monday so hopefully the weekend won't have too much of a negative impact on that. Can't be any worse than last weekend so hopefully I can finally break the 40kg barrier.

Nothing on wikipedia inspires me with confidence. 23 serious health problems and 1 death out of 1,000,000 sales per year doesn't exactly fill me with worry. The death was from years ago when the product contained ephidrine. That's been removed now. Still wouldn't worry me though tbh. All I can tell you is it's great for shifting the last little bit of fat.

Wikipedia is actually a very good source of information for stuff like this. Peer-reviewed statements, rather than unsubstantiated advertising claims from a manufacturer/retailer. Of course, it's up to you how much weight you give the statements in wikipedia as accurate, but at least you know there's a level of independence and transparency with what's on there.

There's lots of other fat loss products out there to try as well. I used hydroxycut recently but to be honest I was probably carrying too much body fat at the time. I definitely lost some fat but it was difficult to gauge how much was thanks to the fat burners because I'd made a major change in my diet at the same time. In the past I've used different products when I've been slim anyway and they've really made a difference. I said hydroxycut here because it's the one that everyone seems to have heard of. I was really referring to fat burners in general of which I understand this is the most popular in the world. Have a look through a few of them and see what you think seems best.

I take my little green tea pills at the moment, and have done for a while. Don't know if they work or not but this last little layer is really starting to piss me off now so will give it a bash.

Meh. They've all done it. We know the adverts are bollocks but they're aimed at fat f**kers who want a miracle cure for their lardiness. Boldie has a functional brain and will make his own mind up. I personally think Boldie will get good results with these. If I'm wrong I'm sure he'll tell me. The list of ingredients is awesome. So much caffeine And yawn about the killing people. It was one person and he probably took about 10 times the recommended dose because he was a tit. A word of warning Boldie. don't take more than the recommended dose. Firstly you may die but also you won't be able to sleep ever again.

Yeah no worries, I always make sure I stick to the dosage. Caffeine pills rule BTW, they really work when you're working 12 hour days and need to stay sharp

That reminded me a bit of the 'advanced' difficulty of the planks exercise in this section - http://www.swimming.org/swimfit/fran-halsall-core-exercises/- that has one leg raised at a time rather than both on a medicine ball I thought the link might be interesting if anybody is looking for an idea for core exercises, it has an easy, medium and hard version of each of the 8 exercises so a nice range for whatever level people are currently at.
