I'm not weighing myself until the end. When I've tried brief stints before I can sometimes get a little discouraged my lack of movement day to day but I'm doing all the right things so hopefully it all comes off by the 1st. Kinda worried about chinese tonight. Will try avoid rice/noodles.

Meh I wouldn't spoil a dinner like that by skipping out on stuff, do an extra hours cardio or something and enjoy imo

gonna be a hard weekend but gonna dig in.

This is worth talking about imo.  You need to find something (imo) that resonates enough so that it doesn't feel like a hard weekend.  If you don't, it will always feel like deprivation which usually doesn't end well.

various thoughts I have had in the past include:

If I eat that I'm gonna lose a $xxx prop.
I have eaten crap for 10 years, now there is 6 months of payback to wipe the slate.
I'm not going to book a Vegas flight again weighing more than xxx
I need to be able to fit on that rollercoaster in July...

Obv best if you have your own thought means so much to you, it helps you focus through the tough spots.

IMO, losing weight is very easy.  Simply don't eat more calories than you should, exercise and weight comes off every time.  The really hard bit for me is after losing the weight, keeping it off by not letting old habits creep back in.

Winner.

For anyone who really wants to lose weight I'd take a careful look at Simon's daily intake and then your own.

I'd already make Simon a strong favourite to lose considerably more than anyone else purely because of what he eats.

It really is easy and anybody who claims it's difficult is a twat.

How can it possibly be difficult to not eat as much as you used to?

I was telling Sunny the other day, you just have to make it your focus.

In the last 3 months I have had 1 night out (Hopins B'day), and that is the only time I have drank too.

I have been to engagements like peoples bar b q's that were already arranged, but I simply didnt drink. People get it, and they might say once "your not drinking?!?!?!??!" but the conversation soon moves on. It also help is you are a month in and they can see the results, they strangely take your side at that point!

Its just got to be your focus, and this is doubly true if you are low carbing (which is my preferred choice).

No excuses - just get on with it - thats the method that works the best

For all us fatties who are used to eating a a big main meal with more on our plate than we should have (or 2 portions etc) downing like a pint of water before you eat is good.

I think there is a possibility I might hit 14 2 tomorrow, which could lead to me snatching my bet from the jaws of defeat!

After my booze fest of hopkins bday I lost 2lbs, we need more of the same!

Drinking copious amounts in no way effects your ability to lose weight.
