I was telling Sunny the other day, you just have to make it your focus.
In the last 3 months I have had 1 night out (Hopins B'day), and that is the only time I have drank too.
I have been to engagements like peoples bar b q's that were already arranged, but I simply didnt drink. People get it, and they might say once "your not drinking?!?!?!??!" but the conversation soon moves on. It also help is you are a month in and they can see the results, they strangely take your side at that point!
Its just got to be your focus, and this is doubly true if you are low carbing (which is my preferred choice).
No excuses - just get on with it - thats the method that works the best
Drinking copious amounts in no way effects your ability to lose weight. Is this just word play? It doesn't affect your ability I'll admit that. You still have the ability but by drinking you won't achieve that ability. Unless you were serious in which case you are wrong.

If your preferred diet is low carb why are you eating malt loaf every day. Can we please start calling it malt loaf. Thanks.

Thanks. low GI minimal effect on insulin release (same as my reason for eating porridge). I also eat it techincally as my bread substitute as I needed this for me not to get bored There are several foods that I eat which are slightly higher in carb (mainly low GI), which have a minimal impact on insulin releae and therefore no subsequent hunger craving. If it doesnt retrospectively make me crave, then I eat it (popcorn we discussed earlier ITT). In my mind if it helps you get through a tough moment but keeps you on track it is well worth it

I'm not weighing myself until the end. When I've tried brief stints before I can sometimes get a little discouraged my lack of movement day to day but I'm doing all the right things so hopefully it all comes off by the 1st. Kinda worried about chinese tonight. Will try avoid rice/noodles.
No expert, but I'd suspect having a shit every day would definitely help with the weight loss

I'd take a careful look at Simon's daily intake....
Ty, but tbf it was a pretty big bowl of chilli I went to the local garage (sainsburys) to sort petrol and tyres etc for going away later, dinner ended up being a tray of chicken tikka and some fruit for the car. Again not the best balanced meal ever, but fridge is empty. The next week will be interesting, visiting a few places, hotel for part of it, family for part of it. Not planning to use scales as it is meaningless if each set is different. Will have the odd treat, try and compensate as best I can and be grateful for some weight loss if there is any.
