Todays food

Fry up = 2 poached eggs, 2 bacon, 1 sausage, 1 hash brown, mushrooms

Chicken and 1/2 pitta bread

Tomorrow is gonna be a very lean day as there is a very small chance I could win my bet. Golf in the morning (but in a cart because of my knee), then probs gonna come home, fire on the bin bag and get out jogging (slowly) to see what I can sweat out. This will be follwed by an ice bath and a good nights sleep and with any lucj I will wake up weighting 14st.

GET THEREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

6 Senokot would have done the trick if you took them this afternoon lol gl

Cool, might have a browse and see if I can find a decent sports massage therapist.

Thanks mate (and Marky)

Let me know how you get on boldie, I might have a go as well if you get some benefit. We have a couple registered ones upstairs at my gym so I can get to it easily enough if they're that good.

I periodically take something similar when low carbing - and I have timed that for today! Could be fun on the golf course tomorrow!

Today's food:

Breakfast - 50g oatmeal. 1/2 pint milk, 3 scoops protein powder

Pre training - 45g protein shot

Dinner - 175g chicken made in to curry, 50g rice, 3 x pitta

Prety shitty, lazy day really but I went training which may have helped a bit.

Weigh in time shortly. Update tomorrow.

Senokot are a godsend and I imagine quite useful if you've got a weigh in or something Cheesy

My eating has been terrible today, I was working and it was manic so didn't have a shot at leaving the PC. I as even too caught up to order anything, luckily I found a chilli in the cupboard so nuked that just now and will have another cookie in a bit. Not ideal but I'll live and I've got 3  chicken breasts ready to go tomorrow as well as another 1/2kg of mince for the weeks chilli!

Came out of retirement and played 90mins of Sunday league yesterday. Just like the Premiership it was packed full of goals where we lost in a 6-4 thriller. That is the first bit of exercise i have done since i left the RAF last year, absolutely killed me and can't even walk now, but it has given me a thirst for it again, am looking forward to getting fit/losing weight so i can be decent next season.

Food has been pretty tez tbh, poor excuses mainly not wanting to throw a load of shit away.

Will weigh in on Weds morning as I am away Thurs/Fri

Just got back from a nice chest session.

I decided to have a bit of a change from the dumbells so thought I'd try a bit of flat bench press.

Started with just the bar to warm up then did 20 reps with 60kg (40kg + bar) to get ready for a couple of proper sets.

Managed a reasonably easy set at 100kg for 8 reps and wondered if I could safely push it a bit further.

Luckily there was a chap in there who's a decent spotter so I thought I'd get a spot and push it to 120kg

I was pleasantly surprised to get 3 reps out on my own. When I say surprised it was actually more of a shock. Even at my peak I could never do more than 140kg as I've never been a particularly good bench presser.

Even when I was easily doing 12 reps of 50kg dumbells I very rarely pushed above 120kg bench as I found it very difficult.

I've no idea where this sudden strength has come from but I think I might give it a bit of a push when I get back from my holiday and see where it goes.

Obviously benching is much more dangerous than dumbells so you really need a spotter for heavy sets. Hopefully there will be somebody about who can help most weeks.

If there's nobody decent about though I'll just have to leave it. I'd rather do a light set with no spotter than a heavy one with a bad spotter.
