The 5K heads up was postponed as at 3pm there were not enough players as only 6 were registered. There are now 8 players and entries have been closed. It will now start on Friday at 3pm. The 1st round draw has been made and the line up looks like this:

Karl Mahrenholz v Tom Bentham
Richard Gryko v Jeff Kimber
Bambos Xanthos v Ketul Nathwani
Martin Silke v Victoria Coren

The first two matches start at 3pm. The second two will start once these have been completed.

The draw for the semi-finals will take place once all the first round mathes have been completed.

The prize money will be distributed as follows:

Winner: £20,000
Runner Up: £12,000
Third Place Play Off Winner: £8,000

Hey Jon is it still going to be 120 GUKPT ranking points for winner, 100 for 2nd, 80 for 3rd etc?

Really? Nice one, that potentially adds a nice extra 20k to the prize pot tomorrow.
