I really can't think of a figure. I play for fun, and have made a load of friends through poker too - if I took an amount of money to stop playing I'd probably end up being rich and miserable, constantly resenting the fact I can't go to play tournaments I'd like to take part in. I'd give up playing for a year for maybe 40-50k ,but any longer than that I really don't think I could sign up to.
Just on a tangent, I'd happily never play a hand of online poker again for 100k
Okay
I have £10k in cash
I will deliver it to you this evening
Only condition is you cant play poker until 21/11/2010
Your going to turn me down?
You wouldn't have to deliver it to me ... I would come and collect it !!
Thats kind of my point Kev!
I wasnt having a go at Claw but I think there are fair few people on here that would accept 10% of what they are asking for if someone actually turned up at their door with the cash.

Okay Claires may be a bad example
But im pretty sure there are a few people on here who would accept £50k and are stating it would take half a million or something.

Stu - yes i would turn that down. For me giving up the opportunity to do what I love for a year would take more than 10k otherwise i'd have said 10k!
