Well to start off our romantic evening, we just had a stroll to the local polling station to vote.

Drainetta has been on the vino all afternoon with her mum, and whilst we were in the queue slipped out "d'ya reckon we'd get away with a quick one in the booth?"

Talking of flexible, a young lady of my acquaintance had one of those little Peugeot 206 cabriolets.. she was able to rest her feet flat on the roof from the passenger seat...Sigh... such Halcyon days....

I have just looked back at the posts on here an I've decided that I post too often, so - good news for birdforum - I am not gonna post as much from here on.
Well, I am gonna try anyway. No promises, obv.

Drainetta (out for an EXTRA special treat) was unlucky to exit 3rd last nite after RRAI pre with JJ, and lost to 77 caller (Chinese Alan, with the world in front of him). The 7 on flop was really nice. FHrL.

Alan and George Michael left HU.

Quote of the night "Well you made me come" shouted across the card room mid evening - with much laughter in the cardroom in response. Wp little red. ;-)

There has to be some sort of reward for putting up with Drainy for 21 years right? Yep, third place in the Thursday night £20 rebuy, getting ul versus Chinese Alan's 77. Nine points to LRRH.
Elsewhere, a good night for Jonnyplums's fantasy team, with him picking up six points himself and tea-slurper extraordinaire George Michael binking second for 12pts. That puts him third. No-one else scored nothing man. Crazy.
