Another ridicu-late Monday for the creme de la crap, with myself, Celtic and Boer Wars half of the final six who carried on shuffling chips around the table until the early hours. Celtic sixth for a saver, me fifth, Boer Wars TBC.
Score updatage in the morning/early afternoon.
And the results are in........
............drumroll..........
CONGRATS to the zebra munching Mr Boer Woers.

Nice win - congrats - deserved it - real gentleman at the table. I complained I was cold and he took off his jacket and put it round my shoulders just like in the movies....

At the end of around ten hours of poker, the upshot was Boer Wars 15pts, me 6pts, Celtic 5pts.
Good-quality final table, with Chinese George and his missus, Paul Wimbledon (the only ex-Western regular called Paul with anything like a game), Co-Operative 'good with food' voiceover man and a couple of other solids present.
Sir Donksalot remains bottom of the fantasy league

Maybe you, the Ruislip Burd, and the Doris from Barking ought to appreciate that getting a bit of attention from the fellahs is a blinding result ...... expecting them to remember names -

I'm out of action for the rest of the week so might squeeze in one more trip tonight for the donkfest/scrabble. Hopefully Boer Wars and/or the ice cream man will be there in case i get a bit chilly.

Was there any particular reason why the Omahahahaha comp was so poorly attended on Sunday?
Mrs Drainy was thinking of playing it this week - to reclaim her tiara - but concerned at lack'age of players.
Anyone any view, or has it just been on a downward spiral since the Alien's pwned everyone's souls?
Funny moment in world-drainy that I thought I'd share with you.
No no don't worry, my kids don't think I'm gay.
I left the office earlier to get some fresh air after a heavy meeting, and I was strolling thru the streets of the big bad city, chatting away to Drainetta on my mobile and then I looked down....
HORROR
As I'd rushed away from my desk I'd picked up my grey thin pinstripe suit jacket and put it on.
Only when I was 15 mins from the office did I realise that I was wearing blue thick pin stripe trousers
[ ] There's just no way that I took the jacket off and held it inside out, on the way back to the office
[ ] Drainetta didn't PHSL as I explained this

Good player is Paul, and amusing at the table too. Has made regular cashes at The Western.
And anyone who comes 4th in an event of this quality must be a great player.

Yup - Paul Wimbledon is good player (obviously too good for Chompy ..... did you beg for the saver at "the end of around ten hours of poker"?).
Expect to see more of him at the G .......
