i have heard rumours that having dropped 5k on Friday night Tony has been banned from the card room for bad behaviour, although he is still allowed in the casino

Having dropped his 5k in the cash game he went to the bank picked up 3k returned to the BJ tables and got his 5k back from them.

Im trying to work out why he is welcome at BJ but not in the poker room? any ideas?

There was no suggestion of any ban or problem when the game broke at 10.30 yesterday morning. He'd been asked to stop swearing a few times but that was all. A ban would be very unpopular!

As i say its a rumour, im not sure what time the ban was placed, maybe after he won 5k from the casino


He was asked to leave the card room - not banned.

I was at the table when this all kicked off between him and two other gentleman from the vip pub league game.

Tony was drunk and if i was in the other fellas shoes would have reacted very similarly, the problem was nobody including the staff/management saw it coming - surprise surprise till it was too late.

I think the first of these is Chinese George and the second is a younger lad from Northampton known as Wu - he's had some good results lately.

Another ridicu-late Monday for the creme de la crap, with myself, Celtic and Boer Wars half of the final six who carried on shuffling chips around the table until the early hours. Celtic sixth for a saver, me fifth, Boer Wars TBC.
