PMSL - desperation stakes, Drainy/Compo     ......

Next you'll be proposing 'seeding' the MAS.

Are you hoping that someone might actually pick you for a Fantasy Team then?

The answer is     .....      probably not!

Luton Fantasy League 2

Terrence has nixed the use of freebie player. In a statement he said

"Much as it pains me to admit it, even the most perplexing of Poker players in darkest Bedfordshire have some merit and thus value. We, at the Enfield sauna, celebrate men (and the occasional woman) of all shapes and sizes. I was only saying to Chompy the other day when he came in with Latvian Ernest Gulbis, that whilst you might not like USA Dennis fisting his way across the Luton felt you have to admire his enthusiasm. Chompy agreed so much that Ernest has now pulled out of Wimbledon where he was seeded to meet Nadal in the Quarters. So £0.5m minimum values, the MAS at a chunky and frankly unsustainable £5m each and do your worst.

Sweaty Terrence, peace and out"

and with that he went to rub himself down with a damp copy of the Luton card-room rules.

So plenty of entries please......

Worth spending the time to read this thread all the way through for those unaware of it,amazing stuff indeed

http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=48399.0

Amazing stuff - seemed a good guy too!

Warning - thread takes a few hours to read in full.

I saw Neil's  original staking thread last year and was tempted to have a dabble - thankfully an email exchange with Chompy led me not to follow up on the idea !

Sports betting is for the pros (and that arborist, Chompy) - to have let loose a novice with £80k was, to say the least, a trifle 'optimistic'.

They were saying on AWOP that NB was declared bankrupt in 2007 - so maybe not the best candidate for other people's hard earned   ....

Apparently the 'transfer' of sums between the Gaming account and his own were done in a such an amateurish way, they'd have not fooled anyone scrutinising the 'trades'.

The lack of info/P & L statements to the investors - as well as his, reportedly, high rolling on the roulette table - maybe should have set the alarm bells ringing (easy to say with hindsight).

I just feel sorry for those whose £s were used to finance a grimmer's lifestyle.

Hey note to all

Whilst I appreciate that the comments on the Blatch situation are with the best intentions, lets confine them to that other big thread please.

I love this thread, blonde should be proud of it and Chompy especially proud of it. Lets do the nasty stuff elsewhere and keep this thread a beacon of hope and light, with the odd bit of piss-taking thrwon in, in an ever fading world.

thanks very much in advance

Good point.  Shall we start by making smart remarks about spelling?

Objection ..... Chompmeister bailed resigned innit and should have had sweaty Terry conversation privilages revoked as a result, so therefore this convo is is riddled with loose threads just waiting to be untaggled

so starting off ...... Bump up the MAS prices ...... 7m each I reckonz (not that I care that much cos I haven't picked any of them ... I've got my toy boys that are gonna shine through in the 2nd half of the year innit).

Oh, and NellieG (Trafficjam) asked can she go on as a freebie on the list cos she is planning on playingz more at Luton (she cashed yer know at dtd, hmmmmmmmmm Betty the 2nd here maybe)

Go Go Nellie Go

PS - Retribution is awaiting tonight in the form of whooping my arse at scrabblez should you so desire 'Mr I Have NEVER been Beaten at Scrabble'   Grin

NB Edited to put comma in the correct place before it becomes 2-0 to Lucky the human 'post' analyser  Cheesy

NB: Edit number 2 ..... Drainy's idea to bumpez up the prices is a good 'un ...... price em out the market, go on you knw it makes sense

Point taken, Mr Prew    .....   there's enough doom & gloom in this world.

However, in an gesture of sympathy, I propose a tenner whip round by the Luton Blondeites - and we take 90% of Darren's action in his first Venetian Deepstack, so that we might feel the pain too     ......      of money getting Stella'd down the Drain(pun/fun intended)!

No stella at the Venetian and none of that Aussie piss to spend beer tokens on neither. Get on the Newcy Drainy. Can't believe it won't be Budweiser though. So gay.

Holdy...I'm defo tempted to roll up again tonight for poker and scrabble double header. Last race 9.20pm, hmmm, what to do, what to do.
Is Nellie G Trafficjam's full name? Like Simon G and Kenny G. Or is it Gascoine, without the second 'g'?
Will insert said newbie at £1m if it pleases Lord Tighty?

nah - I don't need bankrolling loofy, got mucho mucho trav cheques and dimez for the trip (tho I might AFTER the trip!; lolz)

no desperation measures for the fantasy either - especially as I've already stated that I is not having a fantasy team.
I just genuinely believe that you three are under-valued, especially James and Adrian obv, so costs should b increased
as I've said, i'm not in it for July to Dec so really don't give fat rat's - or a even monkey's - arse

Don't be such a poof!

The obvious move was to enter 'Team Alien'      ......       sit back, drink Stella, and play Scrabble - whilst Tracey and the lad rip the League apart    ..........
