Addressing league authority figures thus IS the way forward.

Whos going tonight and out of interest what is the clock 30 or 20 mins ?

Don't fret Ian all the regulars will be there as per usual     .....       however Chompy will be staying in to wash his hair (singular)!

Conversely, this is NOT deemed acceptable and will result in punishment. Even for heavy league scorers who sleep in the loft at the G.

No Luton for me tonight, even though Handsome Paul and Lisa-Marie may both be present. FML.

* Just noticed on the website they're dropping the Monday donkament to 3 x 3,500 as of next month, down from 3 x 4,000. Reckon this'll be down to 3 x 3,000 in due course.

Was 30 minute levels still as of last night,but young Ian is not there tonight so who knows?

But i believe they are dropping either the 75/150 level or the 150/300 from the wednesday structure

Pointless tweaking Monday night chips,its the value the few hardy souls want for £65 on a Monday

Not only did we lose the extra 2 levels that had been the subject of so much praise from people actually able to play a few flops,the tournament was reduced to the awfull crapshoot it was before with 20 min levels throughout

A bumper field of 91 or so took to the felt with a good ammount of leaguers in attendance

My table started off with standard solid deepstack play,until news of the 20 min clock filtered through to those at the tables
I kid you not,from mere posturing with min raises when the assumption was 30 min levels, the panic set in at 50/100 level and its 900 every hand to go{obv called in 3 spots every time}

Apparently they had many complants about the late finish time

Who in their right mind enters a deepstack midweek tournament with 30 min levels if you have to be on the 7.15 to London?{apart from Drainy,who doesn't complain anyway}

Does it now depend who is running the cardroom on any given night to determine the structure?

Poor show say i,F**k you! says tonights eventual winner and good luck to them

My custom is off up the road on Wednesdays now to visit James and his excellant cardroom until sense returns

You will be pleased to know your fantasy woman knocked me out Chompy,was sat next to her for an hour or so

You can buy my jacket if you want to take hair samples or use it as a comfort blanket, trying hard not to imagine the other things you may have in store for it

Point to add this should be a revised turbo deep stack as play goes out the window after level3.

when they changed it a few weeks ago to a 30 min clock it was obvious that it wouldnt finish it if a decent size field turn up. but instead of reverting back to 20min clock they decide to revert both the clock back AND remove 2 levels!

who makes these decisions???

by the way adrian i think james's wednesday comp is also a deepstack turbo

Either put back the other levels so that gives it 40 mins more before it goes loony tunes{probably}

Or go 30 throughout with less starting stack

I dont run a cardroom myself,  am no expert, and can appreciate it needed a tweak with 91 odd runners

But to smash it up into that garbage is wrong after being told at 3am that day what the structure would be
