Nineteen final tables, seven wins and a couple of seconds now for Boer Wars, who's proving this year's answer to Alex (Alex is proving this year's answer to Sir Donksalot).
One place behind was British Gas (9ts), with Biloxi-bound Pizzled (4pts) taking saver points in seventh.
None of them could cope with the sheer quality of Pino Grigio though.
The Omeehaw is consistently getting just enough players for league scorage these days and Rockstar kept his scoreboard on the move by finishing third (9pts).

We were due another good day for the MAS I guess and Rockstar pushed his lead back up to around 100 thanks to Boer Wars binking another second. Scorage also for Rockstar himself (9), British Gas (9) and Pizzled (4).

I got to the final table with 31k when the average was 30k. Probably sitting in 3rd or 4th place at the time (Das had c 85k out the 300k in play).

Blinded down to c 25k and then ran my QQ into Das' AA and was out in 10th.

Boer Wars was robbed!!!!!

A deal was struck by the 2 end gamers with Boer Wars taking the win,but whilst Boer Wars briefly basked in his glory with his Railtards, Pinot Grigio sneaked up to the counter and grabbed the official first place!!!

Dearest Chompy,

Following an extraordinary, emergency meeting, the elders have decided that the official result will stand as recorded on AWOP on this occasion. Therefore, Boer Wars collects 12pts and not the maximum available 15pts.

While understanding that Boer Wars is a relative rookie and thus not completely au fait with all the league angle shooting available, it is felt that this 3pt 'penalty' will teach him a harsh lesson.

Secret camera footage has just reached the Enfield Municipal from last Thursday's event. In it, Evil Edna can be seen negotiating the distance from table 2, seat 6 to the poker desk in a time of approximately 0.113 seconds at the conclusion of the tournament. This is to be commended.

Conversely, ambling around and bragging about owning a veteran curly permed hair-teaser to other members of the Mutual Admiration Society appears to have brought about its own penalty on this occasion.

The rules clarifying this situation have been amended on page 1 of this thread. League members are encouraged to digest this new information.
