Last Monday TK asked myself, Luther, and Boar Wars to look after a guest he had with him
She was sat with the 3 MAS members and was a bit shy as poker was new to her,so could we do the honours and make her feel welcome e.t.c
No problem, she was quiet at first, eat a lot {she had 2 main meals, and shared her pud with me} was pretty enough but nothing special so i thought, her clothes were dowdy and unflattering, fairly bog standard 20 year old with a nice smile was my lasting memory
Since that night it has come to my attention what the sweet young Kate does for a living,i felt it only right i share this with you all......

Sigh...actually got away from said flopped nuts but only on the turn,
slow roll was usual numpty one... limped pot my bb with 9 7 heart 12x bb.... flop A J 10 2 hearts...sb leads at it and i reshove with the middle pin and flush draw...90 seconds later he calls me with KQ..
Only beaten by the kid who took a full 3 minutes to call with the stone colds...i enquired as to why he took so long to call...his reply...
Oh his my m8 i didnt want to push him out...? ...Glad his not my mate...
LOL moment donk limps mid position for 100...2nd donk moves all in for 1100... young kid round the back has a big dwell ( one of the aforementioned matrix/mormon boys ) and finally folds..donk 1 insta calls with the mighty A 9..Young kid enquires what he would have done if he had called the 1100...oh...was the reply..i would have flat called as well.... !! LOL

3 leaguers on FT last night, but no points as Nirvana 10th, Celtic 9th & yours truly 8th, with 5 paid from 39 runners.
Alan Gray, Pete Wigglesworth and Spanish chopped top 3.

Congrats to Mr Bigglesworth for picking up £8k in last night's chop.
Also, congrats to Spanfish, who deserved his part in the chop after having a tough decision to make when Nirvana shoved the button and he woke up behind with jacks. Insta called by all accounts, INSTA!

Mr Biggleworthy reports the following to his legions of acolytes
Just back from Luton a long hard slog, Lewis came 5th & I ended up 2nd in the £100FO however being short stacked with 4 left I cut myself a really bad deal for a change and ended up with £50 less than 4th and £100 less than 3rd and £250 less than the winner..Graham has always told me to not deal and I think that will be the last one. Did myself out of potentially £600, and was already in profit with a guaranteed £390
It seems that only the needy and tattoo-ed cut bad deals with the Biggles.

Post the address Tighty - I can feel a subtle reply welling up inside me that would be only fair to share with the author.

Read it again Fred ..... it looks like Nobblesworth (and boyfriend) were in a five way deal - he being 'short stacked' - with his 'second' probably emanating from a last hand turn over for places.
Either that, or the Luton G Deal Negotiating Team fleeced 'em ..... which is only right and proper IMO!

I'm going to have my first shot at the new style Monday comp tonight, anyone else planning on coming along?

oh and it's not just at Luton they get my name wrong. I had to leave the table for a brief moment at the vic yesterday as there was a ruling made (not in my favour obv) which i was really unhappy about as I thought it had cost me a big pot. Stepped away for a minute to calm down and get back in the zone innit, and was called back by some of the other players to tell me my rubbish hand was actually still good 'michelle! michelle!'

Had a trawl through a few other G poker venues and there are a number of players we should attract into the Luton league a.s.a.p
Chompy would have a field day with some of these, some great names here:
Chin Chow Chow
Robert Swindells
Tracey Dong
Runah Mial
Wendy Sookasin
Colin Hunt
Shekhal Islam
Tiago Alexandre Vieira Barbosa
Enoch Margireta
Roland Redhead
Belinda Bush
And spotted at G casino Aberdeen:
Saturday 10th April £40 re-buy 27 runners
4th.Richard Prew £400
Make sure this result goes in his number played please Chompy

it was APAT weekend and I was playing the 'specialist' event. Seemed to be quite a lot there for the regular tourney (no idea what it was), including a certain slowroller who managed to put me on tilt all over again by staring at me from a couple of tables away

LOL ...
Just wait until the dealers start missing you out completely (sigh, happens everywhere) then start worrying that you've completely morphed into me he he Welcome to my world of madness
Well done on your 3rd place Razz win - go chick.
What was the ruling you wasn't happy with? There was a situ on the Fri eve comp that was beyond belief as well ... It was a self deal comp and Carl was dealing this particular hand. He had dealt to the SB and the BB (I was BB), and the two to my left, when the TD came over and said BB on the move ... he proceeded to move the cards along one to the left and just picked up my chips and took them off the table!!! It was mentioned by us that the hand had started to be dealt and the next BB should be moved but he got arsey and said I was moving (and I swear the SB had looked at his card already).
