Putting alternates on the one table contravines the Gaming Laws, if what i was told by G cardroom Staff was correct
Don't believe this to be the case. They open new tables for alternates at The Venetian and Caesar's for two in LV.
Someone said in the past it's one of these Grosvenor rules. Wouldn't know for sure though.
How many were registered at 5.30, anyone know?
They do it at D2D too. I've also heard in the past that it's just a Grosvenor rule not to open more tables.
Dan told me they only had 7 runners at 5.30 yesterday
so they delayed the start and kicked it off once they had 15 players and enough for 3 tables of 5.
I think it suited them to keep it to three tables as they'd had 3 dealers call in sick (funny that on a lovely sunny day!). Apparently almost as soon as they started, another 15 people quickly arrived.
I got there just after 6pm and was alternate number 6, but only 4 got in.
Norrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, I now have it on good authoritah that players number 18 and 19 were both registered before 5.30pm.
Feeling ashamed for giving the G jokers the benefit of the doubt. Seems it
was
down to the fact they only had three dealers after all.
I feel dirty. Going for a shower.
not good authoritah imo chompy - i regged at 5.20 - number 4. Pretty sure the flip-flop wearing european pro ranker was number 7 or so at just after 5.30pm
i reg'd at 17.31 with paul garnham and we were 18 & 19. at worst 17 & 18
your watch is slow imo
just checked, it's 1 min slow.
Just get there on time and it won't be a problem. Simple.

Ooh, all sorts of updates for Drainy to do after tonight.
Nirvana 7th
Me 5th
Xpressman 4th
Rockstar still scrapping it out with Somerfield Voiceover Man (aka OverTheBorder) and Angela Are-Dee ftw. No bonus points.
The final table was blonder than Rockstar's towels after a root top-up session. GG everyone.
Oh and still nobody has picked me in their fantasy WSOP team. I'm in the same category as Annette and everyone's picking her. Why? FFS.

Well done sir, and welcome to blonde
Sigh, ridic game. Played really well, by my standards, then at the final table was drier than Nirvana's throat after an evening of non-stop chatter.
[ ] I flip well.

In my defence it was a surprise to many at the table that South Africa is not in Europe.
Welcome to Blonde, forget the voice over work, a career in posting absolute rubbish about nothing at all awaits you here.
