Hi Alex - Claire/Tracey/Michelle/Fred here Smiley (i.e. everyone forgets my name so i don't mind). League is as Laxie described, points for finishing in the money (or securing a saver) for any comp over 25 runners, with bonus points for +50 (and more for even bigger fields, but can't remember off the top of my head).  Chompy does all the hard work updating the table and giving us a review of the previous evening's results every morning.  He's a very funny man and thread worth reading just for his posts imo.  There's also a fantasy league (now in a separate thread) where points are awarded on a similar basis, but the pool of players people had to choose from was not limited to those who hang around here.  Gavin Kan (Pizzled) would be doing a lot better if he hadn't dropped me at the last minute....just saying'......

hopefully there'll be another league for 2011, so hang around for a bit, join in with the banter on the thread and don't forget to sign up before January starts thumbs up

to Ady too!
ahhh that helps - i know ive been making more final tables than crashing and usually pretty good at sweet talking savers so maybe i should start penning my pleas to the powers that be straight away - what sort of bribery should i use?will chocolates be acceptable? or can i get away with fluttering my assets? lol

Ady is working tonight and left me to fend for myself (hence the bacon sarnie) but ill be sure to pass on your hello

WP Wu Tang Clan and Lucky, good Lutonage at DTD as per.

Unfortunately Sir Donksalot (powder blue t-shirt; no.288 from the 2007 collection) had the world in the Luton main event when I got knocked out in ninth.

Greg, gonna need you to plan a fortnight back in Luton if poss. Otherwise, it's FOL, FAOL.

TV celebrity Tikay also going strong, and Jim McBink binking. Nothing much changes.

Comedy highlight...

Nirvana giving a gruff fella a disgraceful rubdown and then borderline blubbing and insta-simpering when said dude threatened to take him to the car park. I can't be doing with anyone rubbing down opponents at the poker table. It's so bad.

That's proper dedication, so it is.  Or just plain loopy.  But either way...fair play to ya!
maybe a lil of both - trying to get to grips with it all - i recognise maybe 2 or 3 people but am a bit flumoxed when it comes to working out who everyone is - maybe it would help me loads (hint hint) if anyone who is on here and sees me at the G comes over and tells me who they are as i seriously dont have a clue - help me lol!!!!

I'm more of a blonde reg than a Luton reg or I'd be all over this request.

Mostly read the thread to keep up to date on happenings for the once or twice a year when I do show my face.  That...and it's a funny thread to read.

Give a few forum names that have you stumped and I might be able to help out with descriptions for ya.

Ok, I'll start.....

Which one's that league elder fellow, wot's called Chimpy?

Actually - Chris Brion plays quite often @ Luton     ......       and he finished a lot higher than Gutshot McBird, and Gin Zoo.

So, plaudits for Chris (who had some game about him) - and an HSS voucher for the other two (so they can hire the correct access equipment next time they go laddering).

And how about presenting Three White Feathers to Four Flags for his unselfish display of abject terror in the Sundee Wunner?

Meanwhile, the only poker of any real note over the weekend was played out online in the Bl Sq Nat League      ......         where Jonathan Plumstead suffered yet another humiliating two days of MAS superiority!
