A massive 35 runners last night!! Uh oh.
as I said on the fantasy thread...players FINALLY voting with their feet?
Double edged sword really,"i told you so" gives you 30 seconds of head nodding society vindication,if it all goes tits up though, are we not the losers in the long run?

Hello? What's going on here please? Yesterday's £30er was taken down by one 'David Johnson'. But not that David Johnson, another David Johnson. No points all round.

I'm working tonight, Monday & Tuesday, so no Luton-G for me.
Wednesday - I'm toying with the idea of tootling down to Brighton Rendezvous for their Mid-Week Main Event. £500, 15k chips, 1 hour clock.
Anyone else going down?

No - I find Parking at Brighton Grosvenor such a pain, & so stressful, compared to the Rendezvous, so no, not this time.
In truth, I'm all washed up, & fancy a few days break in the country, so thought I could stay at Hickstead, mooch around the back roads of Sussex all day, & play a little poker in the evenings.

As you werre.
I now have to do the Show on Thursday, not Sunday, late roster change, so I can't do the Rendezvous Main Event on Wednesday. Looks like Luton then. Maybe go to Brighton later in the weejk, I'm now unemployed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, & Monday. Long weekend ftw.

I spoke to Ian over the weekend ...... the Monday £10 re-buy is history ....... he is trying to get the website updated/changed asap.
Monday
is now
a £50 freezeout with 7k in chips (plus 1.5k extra for the earlybirds) ..... 75/150 levels incl ....... 30 minute clock.
We've got what we wanted ...... let's get up there and support young Ian's initiative - the lad is trying his best (against the flood of G management indifference).
Should be a good comp.

Yep, support for Ian all the way. He is the only one there trying to do anything positive, or at least that's how it seems.
Over at DTD, WP Lucky, UL Celtic.
