Ooooh, just 12 players braved the elements for this afternoon's £40er thanks to the weather. Not sure the evening stuff even went ahead. Kalam described it as "the busiest day of my career. Going home for some sleep now."

Yep 12 of us got stuck at the g (worst places to get stuck) had one of the funnyst days ever at the g with snow day poker. Anything went we all had bontys on our heads and was playing one card turn overs in the ft. 8 people came in from the snow to play the £30 but it did't kick off.

Just been thinking back to the evening tourney at DTD on Friday. Amazing stuff.

Guy goes all in for 8xBB from the cutoff at 2k-4k. I reshove AQ in the small blind. I turn my hand. Cutoff does the same. A2. Button shouts to cutoff "What are you doing you tosser?" They didn't know each other. Incred!

Same level, shouty button man makes it 12k out of 60k stack. BB calls out of similar stack. Flop 10 8 4. BB bets 8k, shouty button man goes all in with 10J. BB snaps him with A9. Ace on the river. Shouty man goes nuts. Me and Handsome Paul find it mildly amusing.

Next level, 3k-6k, I have around 120k. UTG shoves for 12100 total into my BB. I call blind. "Have you just called me without looking? Are you insane?" I bink. He storms off shaking his head.

Gimme Luton any day.
