david beckham has been an expert in manipulating the media to his aims since he first broke into the Man U team which has me wondering if the following scene was allowed t be taken for a reason after all he has managed to play for that many years without anyone seeing him use an inhaler that must have included matches in much worse enviorments

Reading too much into things. He only has mild asthma and only uses the inhaler occassionly.

what exactly do you think anyone would've gained from this pic being taken?
his asthma will have been known about by everyone in the game anyway though even if it wasn't I can't see how this is media manipulation

I work for a drug company, the obvious spin off would be using/promoting a certain drug. Unfortunately all laws surrounding promotion of prescription drugs would prevent them from using a public face to promote their drug to the public. Also, The red coloured asthma inhaler is not a brand I recognise, I would suggest it is one of two things:-
1. He actually needs the drug, but is avoiding using a recognised brand to avoid difficulties. 2. He is lined up for a general asthma awareness campaign that may or may not have drug company backing.

Or he just needed his inhaler I refer to answer No1- there is no recognised brand that has a red casing as far as I know, he's hiding it IMO, small chance I could be wrong but doubt it.
