PPFFF WHAT?!?!! how are you not getting it in on this flop?!?? flatting flop is super bad, make it like 750 and never fold.

As played there is no need to over shove as there is only 2 cards to come and possible 6 outs between them. We want to drag all their chips in.

given our hand is so super underrepped, if the turn comes an overcard to a pp they are much less likely to get the chips in, pretty much any pair is getting it in here and loving it. easiest way to get chips ahead or behind is on the flop. it's not about getting outdrawn

i would play the hand the same and then when checked to on the turn i would bet 690 or summat so that on the river i have an easy shove. (the pots 1k ish when check to u? uhave like 2.5k back, leaves u 1900 on the river and if u get 1 caller the pot will be 2400).  if sum1 crai on the turn i would sigh and call (more sigh if the opener jams than the caller).

If you raise the flop you are repping the nuts.  Im not too sure QQ is the nuts on the flop and therefore  you are overplaying your hand unless you think you can get one of them to spazz.  The only problem with flatting the flop is that you always have a hand like 88+ and therefore its unlikey ther opener will barrel air when his flop bet gets 2 callers.  Being in position in this hand allows you to try valuetown/ stack  JJ- anyway.

mmmm interesting comments from Hat and King - if i raise flop i'm overrepping my hand but any face card on turn could kill my action.

At the time I have to admit I was playing careful because I'm genuinely worried that utg opener has AA or KK. My thinking was flat pre flop and see what develops, flat the flop and see if he bets the turn. If he doesn't bet the turn then he doesn't have AA or KK, so lets take a little stroll down to value town....

Turn: (t1035) Two Diamonds (3 players)
UTG+1 checks, CO checks, Hero bets t550, UTG+1 folds, CO calls t550

River: (t2135) (2 players)
CO checks, Hero...

Open-fold seems good now.
