News that  Dubai World, the emirate’s investment vehicle, was seeking to delay for six months payments on all or part of its $59 billion in debt., has worried the markets as British banks have once again lent more than they should have. Dubai was supposed to pull us out of recession, not finish us off.

What advise can any Blonde members give to us bird brains.

contrary to populat belief, dubai is not as loaded as some people think. it doesnt have the oil revenues of the other emirates, such as abu dhabi and the like.

Abu Dhabi has already bailed it out on several occasions. dont think it will be happening again.
