Oi oi Bob.
I had 3/4 in a lucky 15 @ 6/1, 9/2, 5/2 and the last fav in the handicap at Sunderland cost me the full scoop. Sick.
Should have put hearts in instead you sick scottish fecker!!!!!!
bob did 34.78 captain 35.25.
I'm happy taking a watching brief on them tbh, I don't like cheering them on but genuinley thought the 1/3 odds being offered on them for a top 2 finish was far too good to miss out on. I know Fred was a little late getting to the party but me and I think it was Teacake were on them as soon as the books opened. Strange considering for much of last season I wanted to be against them in every game until about 5 weeks before season ended. I'll be looking to back them to finish top half in SPL next year.

Really can't have this T6 here, but if the two Wallis dogs get into a dng dong for early toe it could be set up for one of the wides.

Tal's race. I nearly got the forecast. Was pretty close to the sp 'lol guessing' 5/4 on the wonga wilson early prices!! Went off evens!

Might have been evens with the tote. Course bookie wouldn't lay more than 4/5.

captain and bob (t6 as well - dream draw) in same semi. Captain is a massive lay for the event if anywhere near his ante post price.

decent outside bias at cray this morning. 4 t6 winners in first 5 races. The last one had no chance on the formbook but won going away at a big price.

I used to post in a private betting group that has slowly stopped over the years but was always full of good eggs. One of them is the part owner of Butts Mott
A few days ago
"right guys here we go butts has been installed as 6/1 joint favourite for the oaks which starts tmmr,,,,butts enters the arena in the 9-40 tmmr evening,we are all on anti post.........."
before last night
"thanks guys, its on tv tonight, as usual we got a bit left in the tank, she would be about 85-90% fit (been problems with gallops) and hopefully if all goes well be spot on when the final arrives....Pete always says we need to qualify above all else and we only have to win one race,"
after the race
"Just waiting for pete to get back to me,Butts has been desperatley short of work, the gallop has been flooded and we can not do alot more to be honest other thanwalk her as much as we can and run here to get fit.It looks to me as though she cramped up in the final straight, hopefully that is all it was......will update later.....fingers crossed....."
"Spoke with pete and good news is she is not injured, she has been looked at and she is well off colour today, theres a 24 hour bug doing the rounds, both her and her kennel mate have picked it up ,so a day or so"s more rest and then we can start to prepare for friday........If at anytime we feel she cannot do herself justice we would pull her and call it a day,she has had a great racing career and we do not want to see her struggle at the end....that would not be right......"
Not sure whether this is any use to anyone but thought id post here as this is a cracking thread

cheers horsey. I watched the race without betting it as i was watching the boxing and remember there were very biazzre betting patterns. Went off 8/11 sp in the ring but i am sure it was sub 1/2 on bf on the off for big money. It led and faded badly when on all known form it should have gagged up when it led. Maybe the track layers knew what your guy knew but the guys at home on the machine didn't.

The dog surprised them from the very beginning but the excuse seems valid as she never fades like that late on
They are not big punters (quite the opposite) so maybe who knows

I just remember seeing the result after the race and thinking the 8/11 sp must have been a typo giving the bf sp and that it should be 4/11 sp but it was confirmed as 8/11 which was really odd.
