Droopys Nidge is out of the Derby. Withdrawn lame. Good news for Blonde Nipper antepost backers, not good news for Arbboy as he can't lay it tonight Cheesy

Hills knew that yday imo.  They put out a press release this morning saying how keen they were to lay him both outright and in his heat.  Scum of the highest order that firm.  When do hills ever want to lay a proper bet over the odds?  Never.

They have quickly deleted it from the rpost website now so i can't copy and paste it.

bf forum link.  John ivan puke from hills talking his posh boy bullshit as usual in the press release.  Is there any pr man who is more tilting than puke?  Greasy haired little public school boy who knows nothing about the game and somehow we have to listen to the idiot on behalf of the sponsors.

It did cross my mind that too. Seems cynical to think it but it is most probably true. Dirty.

Its shady even having non-runner counting as a loss when its a championship format.

Betfair ‏@Betfair

We're refunding Sportsbook singles on Droopys Nidge in the Greyhound Derby as free bets, after withdrawing through injury. (Max. refund £25)

for those this may concern

corals also aggressively pushing out nidge from 8/1 to 16/1 at 830am this morning.  More scum operators.

Long term you would gain far more pr wise from withdrawing him from your betting and not laying him imo as a firm.  How much are you seriously going to lay on the Tues morning of Royal Ascot by going top price before news breaks the dog is wrong?

There cant be much gambled AP, after saturday night? Really sad practice but most outside the sport will dismiss it as a dirty game rather then dirty layers who spread every game.

Whats the view here on wimbledon as venue and the current format? After the draw the other night I couldnt help thinking someone could do it way better?

Now the ex hills ceo Ralph topping (big greyhound fan) and the ex head of hills pr Kate Miller (her dad is a 30 year hove on course layer) have both left hills i would be surprised if Hills continue to support the Derby like they have financially in the past few years.  They have definitely 'over' supported dog racing financially compared to their rivals.
