Wildcat was 20/1 yesterday and is 8/1 now.  What has changed overnight?  He won a race he was drawn to win (or at least qualify).   I thought he was big yesterday at 20/1 but think he is too short now at 8/1.  I don't really get the huge change in price tbh.  He was huge odds on to qualify yesterday given his draw and has done what he should have done to be one of the ante post favs.

Obviously he has a nicer than average draw in the next round but the jump from 20/1 to 8/1 seems a bit of an overreaction to me.  Any bets you having at this stage should be win only.  Betting 1/4 1,2,3,4 in a 48 runner 8/1 the field heat is terrible for the punter.  Amazed no one is offering 5 places tbh.  If this was a 48 runner horse race then most firms would be going 6 places still.

The more you look at Wildcat's race it effectively has a penalty kick to get into the last 24.  The other five are total rags in the outright book.  It also has the perfect make up draw wise.  t1  is a 6 bend dog from romford who is slow away and t3 outside it looks more mid/wide than mid/rails (even though its seeded rails) and should give Wildcat the perfect run early.  Both these dogs are 5.30 sectional dogs at best and any sort of normal sub 5.20 start from Wildcat should see him win by half the track tbh.  He must be close to a 1/3 shot to win this heat i would imagine and given the easy run he should get early huge odds on to qualify.

Cheers bud, all decent points.

Just in from work so gonna enjoy re watching all the races. A mate of mine owns some dogs at Belle Vue and they are started to come good. Will post if I hear anything worth mentioning.

been backed off the boards today.  Blue everywhere on oddschecker.  He must be priced as a last 24 dog now.  I get that.  He must be 1/20 to qualfiy for the next round.   Even if he doesn't bingo its close to impssible he doesn't top 3 given his draw.  I'd love to think it wasn't my posts that did it but within 30 minutes of me posting every firm have gone blue!!!  comical screen watchers.  He must be a lay at 6/1 purely on the fact the dog needs his draw.

I posted at 1.16pm and before 2pm virtually every firm have cut the dog to win!   Check oddschecker records.  There wasn't a price change between 10am and 115pm then every firm changed the price between 115pm and 2pm.  If the price was wrong why wasn't it cut before 1pm?  lolzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Done this many a time, lol.

Bull run Bandit has been withdrawn. Wildcat now has an empty trap on outside and is about 1.25 to win. Never lost a race from trap 2 at Towcester 7/7 (might include trap 1 as well)
