Wow what a race, well done salad dodger, small £2 at 80's so can't complain. Unlucky with Droopys, Scotty but each give a return anyway.

Heartbroken. Droopys got a small deny-age late from Crokers and (terrible after timing) I genuinely contemplated tipping Salad Dodger last night at 20s.

I know mate, what u do is hard because you have to get behind something, I know u always look for the value it's just unfortunate, maybe your heart pushed you towards Droopys instead of going with Salad Dodger. Unlucky mate, I got on aero Nemisis earlier thanks for that, and a 66-1 second in the derby cannot be sneezed at!!!!!

Onwards and upwards let's get the Irish derby win, what do you think of Paradise Madison? My ice cream bet cause my daughter is caused Madison.

This has got to be the worst skysports dog meeting in the history of the show.  The vast majority of these 'opens' are nothing more than top grade kinsley graded races in all but name.  The on course layers are an absolute joke.  Opening shows around the 145% mark when there has been early prices up all day on oddschecker from all the major firms to base their tissue on.  Carnage in most races at the first bend as the track is an absolute disgrace for good dogs to get a clear run.

Guess who the meeting is sponsored by?  Could only be Baldfred!!

Only had a handful of bets since the Derby but gone through the Romford card tonight for a small interest. Not tips, just wanted to write something down.

My best bet of the night is in the 9:40 race, where I think T5 Millwards Daisy looks a great bet at 6/1. She's primarily a 575 bitch but has form over tonight's 400m. Importantly, she has good sectionals over the 400m too, and consistent sectionals at that. Her average sectional is about 3:75 which will likely lead this race. She has led over 80% of her recent 575m races and looks good to do so tonight with the 575m strength meaning she'd be tough to pass.

Favourite is Racy Thunder but he hasn't ran since the beginning of May and not at Romford since this time last year where his runs were ok, with the clock probably comparable to Daisy's times. Obviously a decent sort, but with a few negatives and the selection in form, I don't like the price disparity.

In the opener, at 7:31, the middle boxes look the place to favour with T3 Ilewin Potter taken to come out the ping box well and grab the early lead with not much competition inside early - a 24:51s recent time should be good enough to win this mediocre open @ 3/1.

T4 Twilight Mystery is worthy of a small bet in the 8:02 at 10/3. Another mediocre open which won't take much winning, Mystery can be the answer by coming away well and she sees the trip out well enough. I've had my fingers stung by opposing first time early paced Henlow runners so Racy Miss could be the danger.

Finally, T5 Millwards Katy (8:34) is on form and even when missing the break last week was able to be competitive. Hopefully her trapping is back to its best and she can nip past Lorrainecoco early, who should be moving left.

Haha, somehow I managed to post when I was only half way through writing by pressing a certain key on my keyboard. So deleted it so I could finish up.

My nap is 6/1, so that's fairly juicy. Got any views?

Will def be laying the fav in the 940 at 5/2.  Like you say has nothing on it's card to justify such a short price.

racy was the danger.  It gifted the race to the 6 by going straight from the rails from the boxes!  Your t4 has no chance! vul
