Any views on the Sussex Cup that starts tomorrow?
Forest Gavin @ 14s - has the same profile as those ahead of him in the market but at a bigger price, that's enough for me.
Droopys Jarrow @ 16s - top puppy round here. Has flashy times and recent trial shows he is in form. Wide seed probably a bonus too. Prob fav bet of the 3.
Jet Stream Duke @ 50s - bit punty but looked decent in the Derby and Hove could suit.

Pat kelly the hove rpost writer who is a decent judge put up Chicago in post tomorrow as headline bet 50/1 paddy (25/1 best everywhere else) def worth a bet at 50/1 if you can get it tonight before the paper is out tomorrow.

Haven't done too much homework for tonight but having a quick look I like Exocet's draw and price at 3-1, think he goes of shorter than this so have backed him this morning. Have been on Bubbly Gold a few times (thoughts it was unlucky last run) seems a bet at 7/4 although 3 runs in 11 days might be a bit to much, has won from trap 3 a few times and also this distance at Hove, should go off shorter? Although I may lay him if he goes too short. Also like Cathys Clown at 100/30 and Forest Gavin at 3-1, bit of a sucker for early prices so have plunged although I've got time to do a bit of homework after I walk the dogs so will look at again. Great to hear what Scotty/ Arboy think, am I far off?

Exocet currently 9/2 at Coral, with other 4/1 about - could be time for you to fill yer boots!!! Remember him smashing it up in his first round heat last year before being withdrawn to enter the Irish Derby - punters were fuming. Will follow you in at the current prices.
I like Express Master in the first heat at 10/3 - not keen on Jaytee Lightning at 11/10.
Cathy's Clown could be decent, that trap 1 could be a nice pitch to work from for him to work from as should pace up best of the inner but I just think Droopys Jarrow will be too good.
I've got no bet down for the Bubbly Gold race at the minute, but no one can doubt the impressiveness of him chasing down Forest Gavin's clear run in a flashy time not too long ago.

Dam early prices, if had to go in again, missed the 9/2 but got 4-1. I had a tickle on Express Master earlier as I thought the price was too big. I see Jarrow is one of your outright fancies so understandable support against Cathy, you know far more than me so have certainly had a saver but as with dogs anything can happen so I'm sticking with Cathy, I'm probably abit blinkered with Bubbly but I like it a lot, should really leave emotion out but I've gone big on the 7/4. Are you doing Forest Gavin tonight?
Just a recap: Bubbly Gold 7/4 NAP, Exocet 4-1 NB and Cathy's Clown 3-1 for the treble. Just getting back into studying the form so nobody go heavy on my say so. I have had savers on all of scotty's.

I also recommend no one goes heavy on mine, I'm not the most confident of tipsters when it comes to people I know or converse with regularly.
Have backed Express Master, Droopys Jarrow and Exocet. Ladbrokes are best price all three. I like Forest Gavin too, the 3/1 is only left at 365.

Your far too modest Scotty, I have no issues lumping on your fancies, it would take a while for me to be behind with your calls, especially after Droopy at 66-1 in the Derby!!

Can't really give you any reason, sorry. He's probably close to a bet at 5/4, maybe.
What's your thinking? Dogs like Jaytee Lightning are roughly same price tonight and his chances look far superior to Lightning for example.

Clutching at straws really, possibly fatigue for third race in 2 weeks but same for Bubbly Gold so if it's good for one it's good for the other, I've backed it to lay back near the off for a free role, if there is a big move I'll just leave it. Playing live poker tonight so will not get to watch the races, but for some reason I'm quite excited. Hopefully lots of aftertiming oi oi's at the G in Luton.
