Wow was in it to win it until the back straight, got tangled with 2 in the front, just didn't get passed him properly. Very unlucky. Totally two's fault. Them's the dogs sometimes. Thanks for one winner scotty

After seeing the last re run of the puppy derby I can't see Laughing Gravy going off anything other than odds on tmrw night. 11/8 at the moment with 365. Lumped on.
Obvs this means I'm going against Twiggy which I think is a great dog but with Gravy in t6 and the last few runs around Romford have been great, swayed me.

As I say that, guy on TV goes for Twiggy on the basis that 3 is a slow starter and will get plenty of room and the other guy goes for Gravy because he is a more consistent trapper. All about opinions, choose one and stick to it. Come on Gravy!!!!!

Time to give some back at Hove tonight.
My NAP comes in the 9:40pm race where Ardbeg Blitz, in trap 5, looks to be a top bet. 5/2 on offer from bet365, Coral opened at 15/8.
There isn't a great deal of early pace in the race and
Ardbeg Blitz
is usually reasonably away with some decent sectionals. Those decent sectionals actually translate into good sectionals in this race given the line-up. He'll come away better than 4 and 6, and with 4 being the shorter priced favourite that is a bonus as if he leads Wiki Waki Woo then I don't see it clawing it back. Blitz doesn't seem to run between bends 1 and 2 particularly well but will be leading this race and therefore can give a length or so back to the field and still be handy. He looks to have a couple of lengths in hand on these and with the clear run he could go a good bit clear as he does see out the distance well.
Couple of other smaller bets with T1
Whileyouwait
in the 8:18 my NB for the Hove card. To me it looks like he has a nice draw to work from as can hold his pitch against the rails with his good start - which will deny Glenpadden Post the lead, as well as holding off the re-opposing My Real Mutley. Dipped under 28secs in victory last time and went as fast as 27:77 in a trial and if leading he has 515m form which would suggest he is strong enough to hold them off over this shorter 475m.
Finally,
Lawseys Cracker
is worth a small bet in the 8:50 over 659m - she should find herself handily placed early, perhaps more so than normal, and from there looks to have the strength to win. Boosted by the fact the favourite is looking quite short and might not have things all her own way and I believe the selection has the better tools and draw to win this one.
8:18 - T1 Whileyouwait @ 10/3 WH - NB
8:50 - T6 Lawseys Cracker @ 11/4 bet365
9:40 - T5 Ardbeg Blitz @ 5/2 bet365 - NAP
Another person who is pretty clued up about dogs has given Whileuwait as his NAP. Good enough for a double up. Good luck mate.
What do u think about Viking Jack at 13/2 for the Steel City Cup. He didn't go for the Champion Stakes because they wanted to win this.
Will grab a look at the SCC as soon as I get a chance.

Yeah, been thinking about it this morning and def behind Gravy, wished I had put more on last night. Anyway still can't believe Blitz last night, did u see the race? It was his to win, a head past the shoulder of t2 going into the back straight and t2 def move over slightly and it looks like Blitz tripped over his own feet. Really he should have powered past on the corner.
Couple I'm doing at Romford tonight that are outsiders to take on the favs, first one is Kakantu at 10-1, Fav will be very hard to beat but this dog was coming at the death in the last heat and will likely do again, if fav gets in any sort of trouble he may take it, also putting in a R/F/C with Fav (Ibiza Rocks). Second one is Pharisee Flyer in the last at 6-1, few races ago the dog pinged the traps and was never caught, think the 6-1 is too big so I'm on it. (I have backed Reeltrickyone but only because the price with 365 was ool this morning)
NAP Laughing Gravy anything above Evens.
NB Pharisee Flyer @ 6-1
IWAC Kakantu @ 10-1
Good luck all.

My dilemma is between Trickyone and Flyer in the race Omm so we've both got the same idea. I think Trickyone will probably clear Blonde Razor but a % of the time he is held up by him, in which case if Flyer has managed to find his trapping boots (missed break last twice) then he could swing past and I don't think anything goes past him. I might have just talked myself into backing Pharisee Flyer, it might be the best priced greyhound in the race. Plus I've missed the best of the price with Trickyone.

agree mate, i only bet tricky because i knew the price was ool, which i usually lay back just before the off. think the 6-1 on Flyer is too big for what he can do.

At what price do you back Messi? anything over evens? Also keeping an eye out for Chicago's price.

I had t1 (5/2) as the real danger to Messi but at 9/4 he has to be value, Scotty?

I like Brogan Tea Bone (in general), but happy to leave it with the trap 1 draw being a possible negative. I'm on Messi @ 9/4.
Added Cathals Donedeal @ 11/4, in the 9:40 - I like her from this draw and has been running really strongly and should pitch up well early.

Yeah I remember seeing Bone race and he was impressive but as you said last week Messi is good at Romford so at the price I'm happy.
Hills have gone 13/8 for Chicago, don't really fancy it but have bet to lay at the off. Price seems too big for me.

Race went as expected, Twiggy was not catching Gravy although only a length or so behind throughout. gravy even pulled away slightly at the end. Should win final hands down, anything over evens is a bet.
