MK and Plymouth, on the basis that MK is going to be a massive city come 2018 and Plymouth is a huge area otherwise not represented
Find both a bit odd as we sit here today, but can see the long term thinking

MK makes sense geographically.

mk really not going to help when the committee decide where to host. somewhere like derby with a football heritage makes more sense to me

Luton 30 mins away, London 1 hr away, Stanstead 1 hr, Birmingham 75 mins Great location, and a very fast growing area, and (although the franchsie is meh) a wonderful ground with room to expand

Derby and Leicester lost out to Birmingham/Nottingham. Which I actually agree with. Plymouth/MK are correct choices geographically otherwise you'd not be able to regionalise it sufficiently

2018 world cup bid grounds
Birmingham – Villa Park Bristol – New Ashton Vale Stadium Leeds – Elland Road Liverpool – Anfield or New Anfield London – Wembley London – Emirates Stadium London – New White Hart Lane or Olympic Stadium Manchester – City of Manchester Stadium Manchester – Old Trafford Milton Keynes – Stadium MK Newcastle – St James' Park Nottingham – New stadium Plymouth – Home Park Sheffield – Hillsborough Sunderland – Stadium of Light
According to Wiki: ' According to current FIFA practice, no more than one city may use two stadia, and the number of host cities is limited between eight and ten' Presumably London will be the one city allowed more than one stadia, meaning Man City will be fekked as will Sunderland

South Africa are hosting it with only ten grounds so we'd use 12 max, so I can see MK and Plymouth not making the cut anyway.

old trafford not in manchester so technically both manc grounds can be used but that'll mean another city missing out
