Tikay sit down before reading please.

Somehow, and as the title suggests its a mystery the GM of the Rendezvous Brighton, the least poker friendly person has agreed to make every tournament from Jan 4th dealer dealt!

Kudos to Charlie the new cardroom manager for getting that one through!

Good to hear that James. Mr Campbell Dickson is a strange one, it's fair to say.....

For the other comnments, & as Flushy well knows, the reason we were not able to hold a Bash at the Brighton Rendezvous was nothing to do with Dealer-dealt or otherwise.

There's no point taking a third-party Event to a Venue (any Venue) that does not really want you, where we would be deemed an inconvenience to the Hosts. They need to make a little effort, to want us to be there. In my commercial dealings with Mr Dickson, on behalf of others, that's been far from the case, as is widely known.

The Staff in the Card-Room, it must be said, have always been excellent in every way.

yeah, we all know that. I asked the question not because of the dealers but because because maybe it's a sign that the management are coming round to poker

Yes, fair point, but it was a matter of being able to trust people financially. Once trust is broken, it takes a bit of repairing.

that's fair enough though a great shame as it's ideal as a venue, worked really well for the sky tourney

That is a real (unintentionally) ironic Post, if you did but know it.......

Yes, the Sky Event there was a stunning success, on the day, no question about it.

I really need to show a degree of discretion here, but it went rather badly wrong "after the event", so to speak. The matter eventually reached the ears of the Directors of LCI, & myself & A N Other later met with them at the WSOP-E to discuss the matter further.

I re-iterate, it is a very fine Venue.
