Not sure I agree, though it depends on the two people involved in the hand. I reckon a lot of people would call the flop with a mid pair with a view to seeing what happens on the turn. If it gets checked behind then great, my pair is prob good, i can bet or call a bet on the river. If he bets again then sigh he probably has the T, i'll give it up because this is getting expensive and i have no idea if my hand is good.
