i want to buy a new laptop before i go away to australia next week but have no clue whats what

needs to be very good for pokers and dvds/online movies

would like it to be reliable obv but not too heavy as will be mostly used when travelling. looking to spend like £1k but don't mind going higher if really worth it

with a 1k+ budget I'd just get a macbook air and buy an exernal dvd drive if the movies aren't all going to be downloads. ridic light for travelling
