Rumour round the campfire that Lambert going to Burnley.

Would be a disaster for NCFC and signing of the season for Burnley IMO

Was 20+/1 yesterday and into 3/1 ish today adds some weight to said rumour I guess.

Plz let this not happen, kthxbye.

Think Viera would be a good signing for City. Don't think Barry is really an enforcer and De Jong probably isn't as good.

Would like to see United buy a striker and cover at centre half. Can't see it happening tho

Man Utd have no money to spend.

This is a good read.

good thread.

Suprised to see Birmingham have 40m to spend.

Also, i wouldve thought 8m for Babel was a very fair offer indeed, suprised Liverpool rejected that for a bench warmer.

The Babel thing is just weird - Birmingham offer too much, and Liverpool still reject it. Think they will go in for McGeady now, he'll be very decent IMO.

That ones crazy, they ain't gonna get a better offer. McGeady is more likely to leave in the summer. Celtic have already told Birmingham he's not for sale atm, we have plenty others who'll be leaving in this window.

Celtic can't turn down £8m can they?

Who's this Diouf chap that's got a permit for Man Utd?

We have virtually zero debt so we can turn it down. If Celtic are to win the league this season then we can't sell McGeady, anyone else can be sold though. As I said he'll be off in the summer anyway for around that kind of fee.

Norwich chief exec on radio Naarfolk brush's off rumours of Lambert leaving.
Wasn't the most convincing interview ever but lets hope he knows what he's talking about.

I would guess it's only rejected on the basis that they will offer more.

De Jong has been v good this season imo. Surely will be one of the very best DMs about in years to come.

First one gone - Fonte to SOuthampton
Danns rumoured to be following on Monday.
Danns has been our best player this season and this is terrible news - cant believe he is dropping down a division as well.

How much do you think you will get for Moses?

I reckon about £3 million.
How much of that will be paid upfront though is anyone's guess.
Today's rumours are that Man City will buy him and then loan him out to WBA for the rest of the season - or also that Notts Forest are to bid for him!!!
I have no problem with Moses leaving - he is too good for the Championship but has never ever made any noises about leaving, even when he was sub for weeks and weeks.
I would prefer him to go somewhere like Fulham where he will have a manager to look after him and understand him.  He is a very quiet shy lad who has had a very tough upbringing and going somewhere like Man City may not be great for him.

BBC:

From cuddlybunnycuddles on 606: "Heard from a solid contact within White Hart Lane (at Spurs Lodge) that Tottenham have agreed a deal for Ben Foster from Man Utd. Fee said to be £5.5m."

SSN saying Spurs bid £2million for Watford keeper Loach.

Wolves also bid £5million for Stephen Hunt
